I've been streaming on twitch for a few months and I'm looking at getting a capture card, but I'm not entirely sure what I want. I've read reviews on a few all with both good and bad reviews. Bad ones range from .5 second audio lag to simply not working out of the box. Can anyone who has been through at least a couple suggest a specific card?

Here is the information your seeking, the black magic intensity pro, Happauge HD PVR's and the AVERmedia PVR's will all basically act the same and they are all $100-$300. If your CPU is forced to do the encoding you may see screen lag IF using the given software to record, using fraps to externally record will cause no such lag. Another bypass is to get an active HDMI splitter and run your xbox on your TV and PC at the same time recording and playing completely seperately. If your using RGB you might aswell just get a cheap $60~ DVR tuner combo, lag your reading about only comes from hdmi.
