Why you think the Net was born? Porn! Porn! Porn!
The word I used was induced - not inducted.

If you can't be asked to read and comprehend the post you're needlessly flaming why should I care what you have to say?
They better... I'm Horde but let's be real, making a competition of the factions after years of people criticizing them for favoring one faction over the other? Did they REALLY think that that was a good idea? Both bikes should have been made.
There is absolutely no reason the Alliance chopper to be implemented in-game. The Horde won - only horde bike gets implemented in-game.
Because the point stands. You want to lose yourself on details to make your point, by all means, yeah I misread, honest mistake, did it affect the topic? Does not change the fact that the Horde won and you are whining like kids over that. Cause it's not "fair". But it was a contest and that implies there's a winner and there's a loser.
But yeah, I get the pettiness, you want the mount, you whine for it, but you don't want the reputation this earns you, or rather confirms your reputation as WoW's whiners.
For all I care you can have the Horde and the Alliance mount for free. But don't pretend that you aren't whining.
/heavy breathing
It was a contest and the horde won. Alliance people are going crazy over ONE fucking mount. There are hundreds of others in the game. Who gives a shit if you are a mount collector or not.
I'd be amazed if they give the Horde bike away gratis and charge for the Alliance one. Some people take this entirely too seriously. The whole concept is a ginned-up publicity stunt. Both bikes will be available eventually; both will be free. It's entirely possible that they'll go to the store in October though.
"...money's most powerful ability is to allow bad people to continue doing bad things at the expense of those who don't have it."
Definitely this. There's literally no reason to add a smiley unless you really wanted to tell everyone something (but couldn't due to a NDA).
That, or he's a total dick and lost all my respect >.>
PS: I'm Alliance, voted for Horde bike, hoping Horde bike is made accessible to everyone, since it did win after-all.
PPS: They should make the Horde bike accessible to Hordies right now, and allow Alliance to ride it in WoD. That would be a more fair way IMO.
Still wondering why I play this game.
I'm a Rogue and I also made a spreadsheet for the Order Hall that is updated for BfA.
here is how it will probably gonna happen:
in wod both bikes will be available in the shop for 20$.
i mean, the fact that it is only free till september 30th means it will be either unobtainable after that or become a shopmount.
since many people are taking a break until wod it seems reasonable that there are many people who would buy the mount later.
and while they are on it, why not just put an alliance version in too? i mean, they know people want that mount, so it would be easier to put that mount in and sell then creating a completely new one.
that way they can shut up the whiners on the alliance side that throw a tantrum for not getting the bike and make money.
also, didnt they start the modeling/creating of the ingamebikes long before the voting was over?
thats what they showed in the show at least
The part that leaves me interested and curious is the question of whether this event as a marketing strategy was a bumble or stroke of brilliance. If it was brilliance... then we get to ask the question was it respectable and or ethical promoting the level of hostility we have seen consistently since.
I hope not. I really don't want a gift out of sympathy, because some players in my main faction threw a tantrum for losing.
@Zarhym. Leave it out of game please.
That feeling was something some of us mentioned on day one of the announcement of the event. By that I mean a serious no-win situation for the losing side.
That said; ironically generalizations likening people to upset toddlers are the exact reason receiving the mount as an Alliance player would feel ... dirty.
My guess:
- Horde mount won the "contest" and will be free.
- Alliance mount available in the store in WoD.
The Alliance Chopper Is Riding into Azeroth!
On front page , No more whining alliance.
And in the least surprising announcement ever, the Alliance bike is in to buy for gold. Actually the only surprise for me was that they didn't stretch out the drama any longer than they did. This was how it was supposed to work out from the start and is precisely why there was a smiley face on that quote.
"...money's most powerful ability is to allow bad people to continue doing bad things at the expense of those who don't have it."
You see guys? Smiley faces mean everything!
I hope Gabe Newell doesn't put a smiley face next to a post about HL, the internet might not survive.

I'm not one of those people who think everything is about the pet shop, and even I'm surprised it didn't wind up on the store.
