I'll make D1 easy for you all. I'm a Jester. Now, obviously lynching me fulfills my win condition but there's a few bonuses that come with with it. I'm heading on a trip to London in early November which means my contribution to the game would be minimal anyway - but given my role there's no incentive for me to do anything but post once or twice a day or just frustrate people to the point they lynch me later on.

I've no reason to lie about it. Confessing and soaking up a D1 lynch is a solid compromise. It secures my win condition and it prevents me being a distraction/saboteur later down the line. Plus it benefits me in that it means I don't have to fuss about trying to post from my phone when on vacation.

You're right.

I'll kill Largehorn. Yet he'll kill me if he's lynched - since we're not just Jesters, we're Lovers and the other commits suicide once the other is lynched or night killed.

Thus dealing with the problem on D1 is essential for town, especially now I've revealed this and scum will risk exploiting it on N1. I was going to sit back and have a bit of fun but Largehorn is trying to get himself lynched which, if successful, serves to kill me.

Ok, assuming Graeham is telling the truth then that shrinks down the pool of scum.

There's 11 people signed up according to the first post. Raza wasn't signed up and was killed off D1.

Take out two as a jester/lover and that means this is basically a 8 person setup between town/scum (assuming no other 3rd party roles).

As far as the question about infractions and what they do? Check out the vote count and you'll see some additional votes that can't be matched up to anyone. So I'd say they do have some sort of effect on the game.
