History will have to record that the greatest tragedy of this period of social transition was not the strident clamor of the bad people, but the appalling silence of the good people - Martin Luther King, Jr.

1. China's economy is TIED to America. Not tied with mind you, tied to. We are their largest trading partner as we have the ability to actually buy mass quantities of their cheap shit.
2. Military wise, man count matters for shit when a single person sitting in a trailer in New Mexico can remotely blow up 1k troops with no risk to self or the drone.
3. Yeh....this is a real issue, no sarcasm.
4. Manufactured outrage. I know some people believe it, but honestly there isnt rampant racism in the US.
READ and be less Ignorant.
Where did you get your "facts", on the back of a bubble gum wrapper? The American economy is not bad, in fact, it's on the rise and looking strong. As for the military, man power is nothing compared to technology. You are reaching way out of your realm of knowledge to comment on such an issue. Yes, land of the free where either party has the RIGHT to bitch about the other party without getting taken out. Racial tensions are mostly fueled by the media who want ratings, wake-up!
The average American has no issues with race.
I won't say America is still a powerful country, I'll say America is the MOST powerful country in the world. Stop being so jelly, it's not very becoming of you.
Gotta love MMO Champ - the place where nation bashing isn’t allowed unless it’s targeted towards the US.
Maybe someone should make a thread talking about what a shithole most other countries are. It wouldn’t make it past the first page.
Because we are even though certain segments are unhappy and rather throw their useless energy into pity parties rather than accept the truth that the US is still the #1 destination for any foreign national. There must be a reason for that?
Well even tho this is an obvious troll OP, and I say that because many of your points are ridiculous (projections show that one day you won't be #1 at this thing! If these 3rd world countries had the money and tech you did you would not be #1 at this other thing!), I will answer a bit.
Basically one of the easiest ways to control dumb people is to make them pick a side, be it a sports team, a political party, an entire nation, whatever. Then make them invest in that emotionally. If their thing loses at anything, tell them its only because either we didn't want/care to win or we were cheated. The refs boned them, there were illegal voters, we didn't even want to win Vietnam, w/e. Eventually, they will think their side can't ever be wrong or lose, and the other side/sides can't ever be right. Idiots think America is the best because we are actually the best at a few things, and the things we are not the best at? Well either we didn't want to be the best (we didn't care) or you measured us wrong and we actually are the best (we were cheated).
Once you have this done, you essentially have x amount of slaves and you go do whatever you want. Take their money (we need it to fight the other side!), take their things (we need to protect this from the other side!), grab their wifes by the pussy (she's a lying member of the other side!) it does not matter. They will have kids and indoctrinate them for you.
And that has largely happened in America. Our politicians got too good at what they do and our population is dumber because of that. I see no recovery, eventually, other countries will surpass us in various ways. No one nation rules forever and what not.
Well, you absolutely have the right to believe that it isn't the most powerful country, but it seems a little detached to believe it isn't powerful at all. It doesn't help that literally all of your points are objectively wrong.
Economically the US is not only by far the largest in nominal GDP, even if you count the entire EU (Including the UK) as a single economy. In PPP (Which has a lot of problems as an economic benchmark) it is second. Its influence reaches past sheer dollars, in the near universality of English as a business language, and US Naval control of all international sea lanes.
Militarily there is so much wrong with counting military power by raw manpower I won't even start, but consider this. The US has the third largest population backed by the largest economy. At any significant fraction of mobilization it can increase its active manpower more then 200 times before it even has to begin to consider manpower shortfalls, and being a service economy actually helps this. Combine it with massive natural resource deposits and a mostly untapped industrial capability, a long war with the US is a hard sell. The US also has by far the most natural defensible position of any major power in the world, with only two land borders, both of which belong to allied nations deep in the US's influence. An invasion across either ocean is infeasible even without considering the US Navy (Which is completely unchallenged). You can make a good case for its Army not being invincible, but its navy and air force very nearly are.
Racial tensions exist. They are not severe. Every day people of all races sit down for work and play together, and everything is fine. If you walk into a phone store or a car dealership you can be met by someone of any race, and it won't matter at all, or even be commented on. It is a problem, but it is less then it has been at any part of our history, and it is FAR less severe then in dozens of other countries. Europe, China, India, Russia, and other technologically advanced countries are dealing with worse, in most cases their media isn't nearly as open in talking about it, so it seems less obvious.
American Politics are among the most stable in the world. Don't let the rhetoric confuse you, there is a lot of bickering, but not even close to any actual divides. Both political parties believe in exactly the same form of government, support the same checks and balances, have very similar foreign policies and only relatively minor domestic differences. There is essentially no risk of a military coop or societal collapse, the media just likes to dramatize things.
Short version of all this. You don't have to like the US, it can be obnoxious, and it does some pretty messed up stuff sometimes. It also does some amazing stuff, when there is an earthquake in Tibet, there are Americans there to help, and countless other examples. It has enough power that it is extremely hard to hold accountable, and that is a real problem. Trying to deny it is powerful is illogical though, even if you believe it is getting weaker, it still has an awful lot of power left.
They are the leader in spreading their culture (movie / show / medias etc) and if you have such a grip on communication means then you are strong.
Yes, we have proven that we can destroy any country in the world without even batting an eye. We also have the ... strength and resolve? ... to follow through on our threats to completely obliterate other countries, as we proved in Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Syria, and Yemen.
However, world wide demand for having their countries totally obliterated is really low, and our ability to "nation build", as we derisively dismiss those that want to build UP countries instead of tearing them down, is low. World wide, nation building is in HIGH demand.
So, as a country we live in a fantasy where our ability to destroy anyone we want is all that matters and all that anyone else cares about. In another decade or two, as a country we will finally realize that this was a bad way to spend our time at the top. But it will be too late, at least from being a superpower standpoint. But once we are no longer a superpower, maybe we'll get back to our roots, and "nation building" will once again be thought of as an admirable thing to do.
Will be in decades is assuming a lot. Will China be more economically powerful? Probably, but China is also super reliant on America for that to happen. Who you think is buying all their stuff? At this point if even one country has its economy go downward, so will the rest of the world.
Besides my predictions of the future of the economy are much different for the USA. For many reasons the US economy will collapse in 5-10 years with the way things are going. But they won't collapse alone.
More man power doesn't win wars, but technology. The way things are going why even send people to fight?Military wise, third world countries have more men power that could serve in a war.
Unstable politics make sense for a democracy cause like the internet everyone has an opinion. Though lately it's more due to corruption.Politics are unstable. Sure, every country has unstable politics, but in America LAND OF THE FREE?
When you mix races in a country you always get tension. Europe got a taste of that with refugees and suddenly they're flipping out.Racial tensions are up high. Not surprise there, but an educated country would not different, no?
Nothing you said that America isn't a powerful country. Most of the stuff you listed is 1st world problems, except for military which you got wrong. If America went to war with Russia or China, then the world would be in a nuclear winter. Who's more powerful? Doesn't matter, you still end up in a nuclear winter. Europe is too divided to be able to do anything like that, and South America is a joke. Africa is a bigger joke. But please stop saying its still a powerful country.
America China and Russia are the biggest and who would win in a fight has been played out in games for a while. It's like asking who's stronger Goku, Superman, or Jesus. If they all fought it would be the end of the world.
