That might be internally or even thematically hypocritical, but people often are hypocrites and draw arbitrary lines in the sand. The Blood Elves embraced Fel magic out of sense of desperation despite their previous strong ties to the Light - this could be construed as a hypocritical response as well, but it was justified due to their desperation at the time. The Blood Elves, through their union with the Horde, permits the Ebon Blade to operate in their midst because of the strength the Ebon Blade provides them - a collection of Void-addled Elves running around and spreading madness and panic offers no advantages or strengths. The issue may well not be one of "the Void is worse than Necromancy" to the Blood Elves - for specifics we'll have to wait to see what happens in the Void Elf intro sequence and story.

Well, we can do you blood and love without the rhetoric, and we can do you blood and rhetoric without the love, and we can do you all three concurrent or consecutive. But we can't give you love and rhetoric without the blood. Blood is compulsory. They're all blood, you see." ― Tom Stoppard, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead

Allying with the forsaken is damn close to embracing necromancy. The forsaken actively practice it. You seem to be under the assumtion the void elves were trying to spread void corruption to others. But it doesn't say that anywhere. It says they were exiled for using void magic not speading it around. Accepting help from death knights but not from the void elves is hypocritical.

The Blood elves haven't embraced Necromancy, Rommath's Hatred of Sylvanas, Lor'themars threats to Sylvanas when she offered to raise his soldiers, nothing shows they like it at all.

Point out the first void affiliated being other than Alleria that wasn't actively spreading madness.

as a reminder Alleria is the first canon charcter to embrace the void and not automatically insane.

so once again, it's not even close to hypocrisy because the situation isn't comparable.

The situation isnt comparable. The blood elves have suffered more at the hands necromancy and fel magic than void magic. Void users spreading madness? The fel robbed the blood elves of their prince. The undead wiped out 90% of all blood elves. But fel and undeath are ok, void is not ok. Hypocrisy.

Once again you completely fail at what Hypocrisy is. No where does it show blood elves are fine with Necromancy, quite the opposite. They turned against their prince because of fel, the fact that they kicked out the void elves , and that Alleria had to save them from the cusp of madness, is not hypocrisy, it's inline with their morals since Burning Crusade.

The blood elves are now focuses on both Arcane and Light with the rejuvenation of the Sunwell, we see through Lor'themar and Rommath that the blood elves still don't like Necromancy, and we see that they turned on their very prince for falling into madness.

You have a fundamental misunderstanding of the term hypocrisy.

Nope. Its still hypocrisy. You fail to understand despite all of that, demon hunter and death knight horde members are not banished from entering Silvermoon. But the void elves are.

Wait, but those fel crystals in the city weren't applied by Rommath or something? Belves had to use them in order to feed on something.

Those crystals existed for quite some time. Fel crystals were used to power the city, the general population got Mana either through the sanctums or draining mana critters, draining fel magic was a big no, hence why the population rose against Kael'thas. Only a few actually dabbled in fel magic, the magisters for example.

Because you have no one who can keep them under control or capable to help them. They should have locked them up or killed them to be honest.
You mean, the Shadow Priests running around in an actual Void Form spawning tendrils and stuff? I guess they could do something.

Mana wasn't drained for power but to keep the population healthy, not feeding the addiction could have serious side effects.
The Mana Wyrm population was drastically reduced in Eversong Woods, and now they're in the brink of extinction. DEHTA should do something about it.

Also true but they would upset the community, since a lot of people would see them as a cheap copy paste, which is why the void flavor was added.
Almost ALL Allied Races are a cheap copy paste. Highmountain Tauren, Lightforged Draenei, Dark Iron Dwarves AND Void Elves coud just be a new set of customization for their respective counterparts already existing.

From all the Allied Races, Void Elves have the cheapest excuse to exist, and I say that knowing that Dark Iron Dwarves are a part of the Alliance already and calling them an Allied Race is very reduntant.

This charade of density doesn't give your argument strength, nor does endlessly repeating the same incorrect mishandled personal definition of hypocrisy make it true.

Once again I will try to make it easier for you to understand.

The blood elves turned on their prince and the felblood for falling to the fel,

The blood elves kicked out the void elves for falling or starting to fall into the Void.

The Illidari are not part of the Horde or Alliance,

and the Death Knights are not the maddened death to all creation the followers of the void and Fel are.

so once again, it literally could not be hypocrisy when they treated Void elves with the same disdain they did for the fel blood.

Belves killed magic bearing Vermin for their sustience, Fel was just used to rebuild silvermoon. They got their green eyes the same way the Frostwolves got their green skin, proximity rather than consumption of Fel.

What did the void elves do that was worse then what the Dks did against the pallys and red dragons and the warchief? It literally is hypocrisy when known betrayers(DKs) aren't banished from Silvermoon but Void elves are for using void magic.

High Elves, probably have more hurdles when it comes to Intellectual Property. If I was in legal at blizzard I would 100% recommend against it. References in literature, etc is one thing. Making it a playable portion of the content in your game is another.

And honestly I couldn't care less what a race is called, just how do they look with armor sets and what are there racial abilities. This is why I hate Tauren and Highmountain Tauren they look like garbage, I can't wait to race change to a Zandalari druid and bid this clunky gross model good bye. Horde aren't really getting 4 options for druids we are getting one that doesn't look like a drunk clown.

So this means they used fel Crystals before Scourge invansion? How so if they were meant to be imported from Outland? And how come they didn't get green eyes sooner?

This is speculation. If the death knights are allowed to walk around as they please, why would they bother sneaking into Undercity instead of just walking to where Koltira was held?`

The thing is, the PC death knight being able to go where he/she pleases is a gameplay thing, while the exile of the void elves is a lore thing. You have to be able to separate the two in cases like this

The void is a spreading force that corrupts, maddens and consumes all in its sway with a 100% success rate of corruption UNTIL Alleria showed up.

Getting rid of something that offers nothing but risk is not comparable to death knights who, despite their recent actions, offer strength to the Horde (if they rejoin after legion)

So once again, The void elves, by existence, are a 100% threat that needed to be taken care of. If anything it's surprising they weren't killed.

The crystals didn't contain fel magic back then, they merely looked the same prior to the scourge invasion.

Two different things, shadow magic as we know it is fine, merely channeling it, but the moment consumption comes into play doom was certain, until Alleria came along that is.

The Mana Wyrm population was drastically reduced in Eversong Woods, and now they're in the brink of extinction. DEHTA should do something about it.
The Mana wyrms in Quel'thalas were created by the high elves in the past.

It's a shame that we've lost control of many of the creatures here on the island. This was once a tranquil place of study and research. Now it's all we can do to keep from being attacked by our own creations!

I meant a cheap copy paste on the opposite faction.

Maybe. Or maybe they went in a sneaky way cuz they were committing treason against a major faction and didnt want to draw attetion to themselves. " Hey a bunch of death knights just walked in the front door and now koltira is missing. Probably a coincidence."

Except the Death knights aren't constantly trying to spread their numbers, aren't running around in fits of insanity, and actually fought the legion aside from their crimes.

The void's influence on the other hand makes someone 100% dangerous all of the time, giving them the only goal of spreading the void, and drawing in more to the fold.

    so once again, not comparable.

Nowhere is it stated the Void elves were trying to spread the void. It says they nearly gave in, but still hadn't before Alleria helped them. Meanwhile the DKs have already gave in to the Lich Kings orders and attacked Lights hope, Undercity, and Wyrmrest temple. Whats to stop the Lk from ordering and attack on Silvermoon? DKs aren't trying to spread their numbers? Do you know what the DK campaign was about!?!?
