Almost half of under-25s 'never use a condom with a new partner'

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/newsbeat/articl...-a-new-partner
A new campaign's being launched by Public Health England to get more under-25s to use condoms to prevent sexually transmitted infections spreading.

It's the first government sexual health campaign in eight years.

It comes as a survey carried out by PHE and YouGov revealed almost half of 16-24-year-olds have never used a condom with a new partner.

One in 10 of them had never even used one.
Seriously WTF is wrong with people, lack of education is no excuse /sigh!

It's what you get when you so severely neglect sexual education.

"Wtf is wrong with this doctor that bought his degree from an online College, lack of education is no excuse!" /sigh

Lack of education both at school and from at home is quite a good excuse for people doing shit that those having received said education might not.

when is this forum going to have a maximum threads made a week rule?

it's too bad the ignore function doesn't actually ignore threads made by people too

Right after they put a post requirement on accounts before they can create new threads would be my guess.

But sex education isn't neglected that's what's fucked up! These people know unprotected sex can and will = pregnancies and STI's

There's not some hidden meaning behind this

The main reason for not using a condom was because they said sex felt better without one.
You're not getting HIV unless you're on the receiving end of anal sex, and most of the STIs are easily curable so of course condom use is going to be low.

Shit, I have only ever been with my now Wife, but we rocked condoms for 7 years before we got married. The night we got married stopped using them and bam pregnant...lol so yeah pretty dumb not to use them. I am an advocate for them through and through, but now that she is fixed it is sure nice not to have to worry about any more kids.

Yes. The chance of a guy getting HIV from heterosexual sex is nearly nonexistent. Assuming you don't have a gigantic herpes sore on your dick.

Ummm no? This isn't reliable data at all. I reckon most under 25s use condoms at a much higher rate than before.
