Challenge Mode : Play WoW like my disability has me play:
You will need two people, Brian MUST use the mouse for movement/looking and John MUST use the keyboard for casting, attacking, healing etc.
Briand and John share the same goal, same intentions - but they can't talk to each other, however they can react to each other's in game activities.
Now see how far Brian and John get in WoW.
when it was 30k it was a steal but with it at 170k then its not worth it and instead its more sensible for me to just pay with IRL money.
cant even remember the last time i spent actual money on wow. I think the last time I did was a month before tokens came out
15 dollar is way less valuable than the time to get 200k... so I don't care about tokens.

FOMO: "Fear Of Missing Out", also commonly known as people with a mental issue of managing time and activities, many expecting others to fit into their schedule so they don't miss out on things to come. If FOMO becomes a problem for you, do seek help, it can be a very unhealthy lifestyle..
Like most people that still play, 15$ a month really isn't anything. I love token's simply because during holidays everyone that knows me knows I play WoW, So I end up with a ton of game-time and 20$ to balance cards. Used to spent most of my time farming and making gold, Now I have so much I go back and do alot of missed or old content and its made the game alot more fun.
These threads always baffle me.
People who buy game time with tokens get to do and play the game for "Free". They argue the point and boast about being clever and good at the game and cant understand why there are people who actually pay real money for this.
The problem with this argument is if nobody actually paid real money for a wow token, you would not be able to buy one with gold. So you effectively argue with somebody to not buy the token with real money as its not smart, but all you doing is removing the supply of tokens for yourself.
People who pay real money for tokens argue about time and how its easy to make real money and spend time doing "other things". Take what i said about the gold payers and just reverse it.
At the end of the day everybody is literally benefiting from this. The gold payers gets free time, the real money payer gets more time, and blizzard gets a nice check. So, lets stop arguing who the most clever is and just thanks each other for making the game better for them.
Real world money is easier to make imo.
Judging by the amount of shitposting and low quality threads presented by the OP, I can't believe that the OP in question has the mental capacity to earn almost 200k gold every month to pay for the token, nor do I believe that actually paying 200k for token is a better alternative to paying 15$ if you're not living in poverty, and that thought leads me to believe that OP is not indeed that smart and prefers to spend a larger amount of time earning fake currency instead of just spending an hour's worth of work to pay for a game that's meant to be enjoyed without having to worry about gold for the next token.
You think 75$/hour is a lot when talking about engineering positions, or something like medicine? You don't know what that guy is doing in real life. For all you know he can be some kind of highly educated specialist.
Now that's a lot of bragging for something very irrelevant. Asinine, as expected from the likes of you.

Yeah, people can do what they like. I never said otherwise. I was just agreeing with the poster that a) it's faster to work for the $$, and b) I do the same.

I mean, it's not crazy high.
As an example, I get 4 weeks paid vacation along with 10 company holidays, so I work 46 weeks a year. I work roughly 40 hours a week, or 1840 a year.
5*15 = $75 an hour.
75*1840= $138,000.
Certainly high, but a good programming job in Orange County, Seattle, or San Francisco will offer something on that level at a decent company. Doctors, Engineers, Architects, etc, can make that pretty easily in some of the more expensive areas in the country.

Uhhh... since that time is literally “no time”, i doubt that. On 5 110s, i passively clear ~350k a month just from gold missions.
Add in another 500k-750k every month or so from Blood of Sargeras mat conversion, but that DOES take 45 minutes or so to buy the mats and list them on the AH.

The wow token has paid for my sub since it was introduced, as well as paid for my subscription until 9 October 2026........Also I recently bought every store mount/pet that was on sale this week with bnet balance paid for with the token, as well as my virtual blizcon ticket last month, as well as maximum bnet balance after buying these (about $420 ish canadian) and I still have 10 unused tokens in my mage alts bags.
I love you token, you have literally saved me over a thousand dollars! Maybe even over 2 thousand.....
Do people really need to farm gold to hit 200k a month? I just accumulate it by playing about 12 hours a week w/ class hall missions and world quests.
Price got high so I stopped farming for it.
But it did let me play for a year and half free so. Ya thanks wow Tokens.
