All this talk about 'manly' music and nobody links Black Strobe. Get your shit together MMO-OT.

Populists (and "national socialists") look at the supposedly secret deals that run the world "behind the scenes". Child's play. Except that childishness is sinister in adults.

I will say this, though: they're much better live than Blink 182. That band is just atrocious.
I saw them in VA this year. I think they still rock, even thier new album. The messages in thier music appeals to me a lot. :3

Good stuff. I will check both out today. I recorded 2 albums myself years back, and admittedly did use drum samples for them, because... well, it was financially the only route available to me, given that it was entirely self funded. Everything else was played.

The plan for the 3rd was to do everything old school, not even with a click track. Never did get there.

Sorry... full band in 1 room live recording stopped being a standard approach in the 60's. It can be done, sure... but it is not what's typically done for most genres. Isolated recording isn't just a pop song thing, and there's a myriad of reasons for that, both technical and economical.

Guess the demographic that's always been the easiest to market to and always spends the most. This is true in almost everything in entertainment, it's even easier now you can mix pop-politics into the mix.

When I think 'manly music' U2 isn't exactly my immediate thoughts lol Also wtf is manly music
What the fucking fuck is he even on about? What a load of shit. All the music you could ever want is available at any time through the fucking internet. What an arrogant, self-righteous prick.

they are pretty damn good. i have to keep pantera in my top spot though, cause they're the whole reason i'm into metal in the first place. 10's in the broly movie hooked me.

Pantera had their time and place, and i listened to them a lot 20 years ago, but they were "just" a rock band. Plus Phil is a drunkard and racist idiot that didn't deserve to be in a band with Dimebag.

Eminem says something stupid, people say: "lol, look at all the triggered right wingers!"
Bono says something stupid, same people say: "You suck Bono.

    Still alive, sorry to disappoint.

and i am also saddened hip hop is the most popular music for todays young ones. even though i listen to it, i know enough to not let art imitate life. young people do not.
Not sure what your point is.

Once watched a short docu/video on how BTBAM records their albums, and pretty much like you said.

Phil is more than a drunkard; he's a total junkie. That doesn't take away from the fact that he's made some good music with Pantera and Down.

What does what Bono is saying have to do with politics?
