Is it true that Mal'Ganis will come to this game very soon?

Brothers and sisters, I come to you with a question. Will Mal'Ganis be the next hero to bless Heroes of the Storm? I have seen good folk speaking about 'leaks' in game chat. Are these to be believed? Can I safely armour my heart and await Dreadlord's nigh arrival? I really like Nathrezim.

I've personally not heard anything reliable in that direction. In fact, there's not currently anything out there regarding the next hero. Last summer's leak was cool and all, but for the first time in half a year we have no clue what's coming next!

While the Mal'ganis leak is from the same person who guessed Firebat was coming, Firebat has been leaked over half a year ago and we also got a Blizzard teaser from the KT video. So while there's a chance that the leak is correct, it's not really reliable, as Nerraw mentioned. We do know that a Diablo hero is probably on the horizon, the HotS team has done their best to keep an even number of SC and Diablo heroes, don't see who they'd mess with it now. Even that is not guaranteed, ofcourse.

There was one leak that listed a whole bunch of heroes, that turned out to be accurate. Then there was some other supposed leak that mentioned Mal'ganis, but it was not from the same person, so we don't have any reason to assume it's accurate as of yet. People didn't totally believe the first leak either, until he had 3 consecutive heroes correct, which is a bit too unlikely to be just someone making guesses. So as of right now, it's possible Mal'ganis might come soon, but there's no reason to believe he will, anyone that says there is is simply guessing.

Considering that HOTS averaged more than a new toon a month for 2017, it's not like they couldn't do both.

Dark Wanderer.

I kid you not, this list predicted every single hero introduced to the game perfectly(even in right order) in second half of the last year (even firebat for this year) and it seems Dark Wanderer is the only one missing. So I am expecting him and after this, who knows.

Mal'Ganis or any other dreadlord should definately be a new hero. It would also be the first playable Warcraft demon, so I'm hoping to see a pit lord or even Archimonde/Kil'jaeden aswell. One of his abilities could be turning enemy minions into zombies like he did during the Culling of Stratholme. The standard dreadlord abilities like Carrion Swam, Sleep, Vampiric Aura and Infernal are all viable enough to keep.

He was never referenced in leak as Aidan but I don't know. Dark Wanderer was last leaked hero, hero, which is supposed to be released after Firebat. We will know soon enough.

I tend to believe, it wasn't joke. Especially when last Diablo character was Malthael in June last year and last Specialist was Probius in march, Dark Wanderer seems to be quite possible.

To be honest, Dark Wanderer does not make a sense as it is essentially a Diablo in human disguise and Aidan was just a Warrior from Diablo 1.

I also know it is a same person basically, but it seems rather underwhelming when you still have Prime Evils and Archangels to add or even some Diablo 2 classes.

Also, this mysterious leaker on 4chan wrote, that blizzard is keeping "what will happen on blizzcon as secret for non-core members" so he pointed on fact that few heroes may be missing from the list.

So while he didn't hit Hanzo, every single hero he predicted is in ..except Dark Wanderer. And since last Diablo hero was like half year ago, I think it is about time to add one. And while I understand Dark Wanderer is in fact Diablo (at least one of his vessels), there is design space to explore it I guess. Anyway. In maybe two weeks we will know for sure.

IIRC they have stated that they recorded extra voicelines for characters referencing other characters that might never come, just so that they have those lines in case plans change. Otherwise they'd need to have a lot of voice actors come in just for a single line every time they make a new hero.
