    Can I block people from seeing my characters in blizzards current armory website?

    If they know your character name/realm, no, unless you are inactive for long time.

    I have a US account inactive for many years (since 2008), at some point the characters got renamed with a combination of name+numbers, so pretty much can't be found until I activate/rename them.

    Loot worthless items, uneqip gear before logging off. Get barely unintelligible character name etc. Use the fact of recent activity being visible to mislead information-seekers.
