I agree with you 100%, Hitei. The reason why female night elves, humans, draenei and blood elves are so popular is because they're attractive in some way. Even vrykul women, as large and muscular as they are, are way prettier than the Kul'tirans. Many people would want to play a strong shieldmaiden over a boring fat chick. And what upsets me the most is how different the male and female models are in terms of quality.
When they were announced, many players expressed their desire to play Kul'tirans, although the female models had yet to be created. I was skeptical since I'm a female who only plays female characters, so I didn't have an interest in the race. As soon as the female model was released, I was taken aback by just how... boring and ugly they look. The males actually have muscles and a slight resemblance to the vrykul. Females on the other hand, are just fat. The only thing appealing about them is their hairstyles, and those don't make a race.
I understand some people want them because "all races shouldn't be supermodels", but that's what most people want to play. And it sucks that we have yet another female model that's going to be just as neglected as the dwarf (which I personally think is cuter than the Kul'tiran). I brought up vrykul because I think there's a chance that these will be replacing them since both are larger humans. I really hope that's not the case. Anyways, that's my two cents.
Too bad the parrot mount is not a new skeleton, but pretty cool skin !

I'm not sure what evidence is of the emissaries being Twilights, but I'd love to see it, too!
I do know that at least on them is a corpse.
When you are accustomed to privilege, equality feels like injustice.
