Mega shark vs kolossus

By far the worst movie i've ever seen and the only movie i've ever walked out of a theater from.

The last Airbender
by a mile
also OP: Battlefield Earth is one of the best comedies ever made.
The Room is awesome. It is bad in all the right ways. I would never post it in a list like this because it's a blast. Tommy Wiseau is the Moon Moon among aliens infiltrating earth with everyone else infiltrating governments and him just going "I want to make a movie, hah. It will be a masterpiece, haha." And everyone's just "Yeah sure, go ahead."
For cinema I had two bad sneaks of German movies, "Belgrad Radio Taxi" (which I walked out of) and "Einmal Hans mit scharfer Sauce" with the second one probably being worse because it made me seriously mad for days. Besides that I can't really point one specific offender out but I've watched a lot of bad horror flicks. They're just too forgettable.

Basically anything with Melissa McCarthy in it.
I'm in the same boat as you lol. I tried watching it on tv, and got through about five minutes before I gave up. Same goes for the Percy Jackson movie.
I know you shouldn't judge books (or movies) by their cover, but this looks unappealing from the start. "The end of a season means the beginning of a new one." How long did it take them to think that one up?
Well you have disappointing movies and you have plain ol bad movies. I'll agree and say the last two alien movies were both disappointing and bad as were the last two Star Wars movies. Battlefield Earth is a bad movie. The Last Airbender was disappointing. Jupiter Ascending was a bad movie, Gravity was a bad movie, The Transformers 2 and up were bad and disappointing. The Gods of Egypt was a bad movie. There is a trend here, as it doesn't seem Hollywood very seldom get science fiction right. I never throw independent movies in these categories because they are supposed to be artsy and up for interpretation.
Maybe for the time when they released everyone thought they where awesome but realy beside the first one with jack nickelson which i still find medicore the rest seriously sucked balls.
As to the suggestion that peter jacksons The lord of the rings sucked well maybe you read the books and therefor you didnt like the movies but all in all they where perfectly shot with the right amount of special effects together with a minimal amount of CGI and that for a movie shot between 1999-2002 and especialy if you compared it to the Hobbit which i do think sucked balls and didnt look half as amazing as TLOTR did.

I agree, there are many movies/TV shows that were great at the time didn't hold up so well over the years. Tim Burton's Batman is one of them.

Was this the first one or the remake? The first had so much potential but the last 30 minutes just ruined the whole movie. The remake was just plain ol bad.
2001: A Space Odyssey.
I love me some Sci-Fi and after seeing some people praising the shit out of it I thought it was gonna be good. Oh was I wrong, just another one of those films that gets praised to high heavens because it's hipster crap.
