Growing up I was into hardcore music. Mostly hardcore straightedge. I ran into a lot of white supremacy, way back in 05 when I was 16. A lot of my friends ended up spending time with skin heads. Several entered the military and have since disappeared. Others, myself have tried to contact them to check on their wellbeing. At best we get responses back from family members. Their remarks are not comforting. My best friend from high school has become a bitter hateful person who is convinced races other than white are working against us. I worry that we've let racism fly under the radar to the point that we can't combat the ideology.
