    Scaling comparison

    Hi there.

So, I know it's really early and balance will definitly change. However, could someone who is in beta give me some comparisons, stat wise on gear for level 110-113 and the same for mob/boss health? Maybe we could take a guess how high we may scale in terms of damage/HP.

I think it's gonna be hard to say from just leveling gear.

    In legion before stat squish:
    680 chestpiece : 399 Stamina
    800 chestpiece : 1224 Stamina
    1000 chestpiece : 8265 Stamina

On top of that we get massive % health modifiers from artifacts.

Damage is even harder to tell with no way to know all the azerite/necklace effects and their scaling.

Of course you could still tell the way "leveling gear" will go up.

But usually after hitting cap, if they keep the same system of difficulties/titanforging, itemlevel skyrockets again after that, even if they'd squish it down.

Actually, I meant more the stats on the gear and how they change with each level, as well as how much the itemlevel increases with each level. So basically, do we get iLevel 200 at 110, then 208 at 111, 216 at 112 etc.

Same for health of mobs/bosses at the various level.

Yes, of course you can still tell that, approximately guess the stats on a fresh 120 (if it's linear), further then that, it gets complicated at level cap.

I'm wondering about itemlevel too and how far we take our Legion itemlevels/legendaries. Usually the top end gear will last at least 5 levels.

Legion greens started at 650 at 98, but surpassed Hellfire Citadel Mythic gear at 106 (743).

I assume BfA greens will be similar around 116/117 to be better then 985 epics.

It's not linear. It never has been linear. Stat growth is exponential with iLvl. A 15 iLvl difference is about 15% stat increase. Still, that should be enough for an educated guess if we can find the iLvl numbers for leveling gear.

Yeah, this. I mean, we know we that current alpha start numbers, which would be early Legion endgame numbers, are around mid to highlevel WotLK numbers (so, 75-80 maybe). How high does this go though? Will we only reach endgame WotLK numbers at 120? Will we reach early/mid/late cata numbers? Does it go even higher?

I do know it's early and in terms of balancing nothing is set in stone, but maybe we could get an early estimate where we are headed. That's not counting raids and post level 120 content, just the journey to 120.
