Most likely this is the case. Terrorist bombs are not usually known to cause a 'Pancake collapse'. Plus once again it's Leicester, :P

I agree on the gas explosion, though I find it strange that it did so much damage in exactly ONE tiny space, totally collapsing it to nothing but rubble, without resulting in the two next-door buildings receiving any damage whatsoever.
Either it was very focused/deliberate, or British building and fire-code safety regulations are a modern marvel to behold! :P

It's not uncommon for a gas explosion to only take out the house where the gas has leaked and damage any adjacent ones. Either British houses are hardcore at resisting explosions or gas isn't that destructive. Originally Posted by mvaliz
