A Fetus is not a person under the 14th amendment.

Christians are Forced Birth Fascists against Human Rights who indoctrinate and groom children. Prove me wrong.

Doesn’t look like a punchable face to me. He’s completely new to me though so not sure what his content is like but that seemed fine.

It's okay, one day you'll realize that Death is an Undeniable Fuel of Life. That's what NRA TV told me anyways.

Jesus this thread is just littered with Cobalt-60 in granule form.

But yeah, I watched the first run of NRA TV and... Cringed, horribly. It's basically state run gun porn for people so entrenched in the fetish one could compare it to the same levels of desperation as a weeaboo with a waifu pillow that can stand by itself.

All they need is to memorize each and every type of gun and their animoo collection will be complete. It's kind of fucking sad people treat weeaboos with less respect than people with literal mental disabilities. (*Cough* gun owners *cough*)

There is absolutely no basis for individual rights to firearms or self defense under any contextual interpretation of the second amendment of the United States Constitution. It defines clearly a militia of which is regulated of the people and arms, for the expressed purpose of protection of the free state. Unwillingness to take in even the most basic and whole context of these laws is exactly the road to anarchy.

If there was ever any sort of real danger or real crisis that you or your family had to face, would you want NRA members on your side or "men" like John Oliver?

Obviously you don't need a gun to be a "real" man, but the absolute weakness and fragility these left wing beta males ooze is just sad.

It's a byproduct of our cushy, modern societies. People don't understand things like strength, struggle and survival because there is so much less of both of those things necessary in developed countries.

Not saying caveman days were better of course, just pointing out how unnatural (from an evolutionary standpoint) men being so weak and being able to survive is.

John Oliver and his writers have definitely mastered the 30 minute video essay.

To be honest, this type of entertainment seems ridiculous, but it's really just another form of power fantasy. Mainstream TV does the same thing. For example, most of the super hero genre.

Think about it. All the Netflix marvel shows are all ridiculously over the top power fantasies about otherwise regular people dealing out vigilante justice. And look at the movies. They do the same thing just on a larger and more fantastic scale.

But it's not just the super hero genre, the action genre does the same thing. And even the cop dramas that are supposed to be gritty and realistic are nothing like what being a cop actually is.

Of course this is not to excuse NRA TV, they definitely aren't giving much thought into how their message is interpreted by people who may not be able to recognize that it is entertainment. I am just saying that the same can be said for mainstream media. In the end it's all just to sell you toys that you don't really need.

So apologist #1 is equating manliness to a gun, even though you don't even need to be a man to operate an AR 15 that well (Lol I know grandmas that can fire an AR 15).

Apologist #2 is trying to compare John Oliver to super hero fantasies? Nice job, except that's the entire angle of the alt right in a nutshell, playing to the white male power fantasy. How do you think Bannon got so much support from WoW fanbois and why this forum is so full of gun apologists willing to deny anything that even remotely challenges their 'reality'?

It's gun porn through and through. To the point where it's a straight fetish. To the point where it makes weeaboos and furries seem more likable and relatable as people.

What sort of credibility do you ever hope to have when you just blatantly make stuff up that is the exact opposite of what has been said, directly in plain sight for all to see?

His content is mostly very funny.

Hes mean to loony right wingers though...

I'd love to map the DNA sequence of incest that led to the founding of the NRA. What the fuck went wrong in the lives of these people?

What exactly about men being weak is unatural from an evolutionary standpoint?

Actually human survival, even in the "cave man days" was predominately enabled by intelligence. That is why we have guns now instead of rocks. If you want to look at pre-human apes then you might have a point, but they were not that successful relative to humans. And humans are not successful because of their strength. They dominate because of their intelligence.

Most people don't live in areas where having a gun is necessary. And I understand that some people do and they are scared. Putting up a front and pretending its about strength and power seems a bit over the top though. A gun is a tool and does not signify your manliness despite what the media wants you to think.

That was my entire point. You didn't read very carefully. There's plenty of gun porn and vigilante justice in the mainstream media. That was my point. It's all a power fantasy. This is just more cringey and ridiculous than most.
