Actually, PTR is having issues too, which makes sense as they share some server stuff, I think.

Wut, there have only ever been two realms on Alpha. Anduin and Sylvanas. They are still up, so no patching right now. Seem quite laggy though.

Hoping for a EU based server on Alpha, have they even talked about this? Honestly I've been having difficulties actually testing stuff with upwards of 180 ping, dno how they expect people to give GCD on offensives a chance when (i'm guessing here) theres a lot of people with high ping.

Alpha servers are located where the development is located.

Last time I checked that was in California.

Wut, there have only ever been two realms on Alpha. Anduin and Sylvanas. They are still up, so no patching right now. Seem quite laggy though.

Guess I was mixed up with the server count on the PTR, as well as the fact that the character list was bugged on my server and showed it with none of my characters recorded.

Alpha seems to be stable again. I doubt we would get a patch on Monday this week anyway.

I know they are located in NA, that wasn't my statement, my statement was I wish they can copy said servers to location specific servers so players can properly test said stuff.

Not sure if anyone has posted it, but some enemies emote when they detect you, too.



As a side note, it looks like there won't be Azerite tokens and you'll instead passively gain it when you complete quests (and presumably WQs) that reward it. Pretty cool.

Beta or PTR or another step on live servers maybe or nothing

Seems like "another step" on live servers is just one Artifact quest.

It's actually funny that it doesn't need much to make us happy for remaining 3 months in Legion. If they would just increase AK (so we could get 75 in no time on alts), let us pick specific legendary (so we could aim for legends that help with Mage Tower, now I have 0 motivation to do this on alts because chance on getting specific legend is still too low) and maybe some gear upgrade (for Wakening Essence), we would be busy until last day on Legion.

Oh god comparing the two.... wow..... I mean I'd have called his 8.0 voice terrible without the comparison but still.

He sounds fine to me, and imo obviously he has to sound older as quite some time passed since WC3. He sounds rugged it fits Horde's bestest scout.

With Alpha they need to be able to push builds whenever and do emergency mainentance and resets if things go FUBAR. Coordinating that across the ocean and dozen timezones is just not worht the hassle.

PTR has cross-region servers and they work fine.
