Increasing your mastery unlocks new weapon options, as many are only usable after achieving a certain rank (ex: Arca Plasmor and Corinth, both kick ass shotguns, require MR10 and most prime weapons have a higher MR requirement now). You will want to do it at some point but you can put this off until later if you have already found weapons you like.

I'd make sure you always have atleast 1 weapon equipped that isn't max so you don't waste xp but your not constantly weaker because your using low level weapons.

That's not a bad idea. I haven't been using the pistol slot very much so I'll try to keep a weapon in that slot to level. Thanks guys.

    Are you on PC?
    If so, add Sixnalia
I'll treat you to some weapon slots :^)

    And welcome to Warframe!

Thanks! I am on PC, so I'll add you in a couple hours when I get home.

@grandpab, if you have a Twitch Prime account you can also grab a freebie Trinity Prime frame. It's one that's well worth having, Trinity is a great starter frame for higher level content that works well enough right out of the box without the need for specialised builds or mods.

I grabbed it, thanks. I'm liking ember a lot I just wish I could build energy a little easier. I got into a survival (I think) group that lasted for about 32 mins and we were up to lvl 52ish mobs. It got pretty ridiculous. Eventually my weapons couldn't do enough damage to kill anything and something was draining my energy so I became pretty useless. It was going well until I couldn't build any more energy though. That #4 ability is so OP.

Ember is my go to frame for streamrolling lower level missions. Just turn on World on Fire and never have to pull a trigger.

Was it an Infested mission? The Big two legged guys that glow purple drain energy (Ancient Disrupters)

Only took 300 hours, 20+ stalker kills, and MR14 to finally get a Dread bp to drop. I can finally rest in peace.

It mighta been. I haven't played long enough to learn the different missions yet. It might not have been survival, as I don't remember the life supports. I don't think we even had an objective. Just kill the waves of enemies until extraction.

They nerfed Ember so the range of World of Fire slowly shrinks down to something much smaller and has to be recast.

I've moved onto to an improvement with Equinox who does the same thing in a much larger range that doesn't shrink. Also has the nice ability of, after dealing some damage for a while, recast the ability and delete every enemy in range.

Sorry, my mistake for not being clear. Infested is the enemy type. not the mission type.
Corpus, high tech guys. Grineer, low tech guys and Infested which are like mutants and beasts. One of the harder Infested are big guys with a harpoon attack that knocks you down and draws you in. There are several variants of those, each with their own energy color. The Purple ones can drain your energy.

Ahh thats sad. To be fair its been a good while since I last played, bit after Plains of Eidolon release. I gotta find the time to pick Warframe back up. Won't be soon tho with a new WoW expansion coming

No problem! Enjoy! I would've been on. But I was busy crying with my guild about the WoW servers as we stared at a log in screen.

Man, the end of this month if going to be a busy one for me.

I'm not a Limbo fan so I haven't put much effort into farming for Limbo Prime but you can bet your ass I am going to go balls to the wall in getting the relics for Nyx Prime, Ankyros Prime and Boltor Prime.

  16. #2676
uuuuhhh DAT Rhino Prime. With BfA prepatch i'm super busy in fixing addons, but most of it is done so i can return to Warframe soon

The missions are fast paced, and easily digestible, and can be adapted to your needs. Do you want to squeeze in a few good runs before you go to bed? You can easily complete a spy mission or a capture mission in two to five minutes. Do you want to feel challenged, the joy of meticulously planning your entry and escape routes and executing the perfect heist? Then spy missions are for you, which can take between 10 minutes to half an hour depending on the tileset you've chosen. Do you want to push your soloing skills or teamwork? Spend upwards of an hour on a survival or wave based defense mission. Do you want to just do whatever and alternate between a variety of gameplay like it's an MMORPG, switching from fishing to mission running to mining to boss battles back to fishing? Then touch down in the Plains of Eidolon and do that. Do you want to play through Warframe's epic story? Begin the cinematic questline!

General gameplay is extremely satisfying, thanks to Warframe's incredible animation and sound feedback.

With over forty different warframes to pick from and the game's unique modding system, you can make almost any playstyle you want. Half the fun is trying to collect parts and mods to assemble the playstyle you want whilst using a fun playstyle using what you have.

Due to the lack of item level creep, the old equipment you've worked long and hard for doesn't become immediately irrelevant after the next wave of items drops, and due to reworks, you can pretty much run anything you want at "endgame", even the starter equipment.

Some people just like a good grind.
If you don't but enjoy the gameplay I would recommend doing the cinematic quests.
