Assuming Trump is on the ballot in 2020, he will be without his two major advantages:

1) He won't have a Democrat as catastrophically polarizing and scandal-ridden as Clinton again. The GoP spent decades tearing town the Clintons. It will basically be impossible for any candidate to end up with as much baggage by 2020 as Hillary had in 2016.

2) He won't get to run as an outsider anymore. As the incumbent he will have to run on his record- which is fine for his strongest supporters, but he has done absolutely nothing to broaden his base of support, and plenty to alienate moderates and independents.

Trump is STILL running against Clinton, why do you think he'll stop in two more years?

To be fair to them though, that's most people's mentality due to a lack of understanding about statistics. A 51% chance in many people's eyes is 100%, since it is the more likely potential. If I recall, only one major poll had Trump ahead of Clinton. Since the rest showed Clinton ahead, people assume that her being given high 40s to Trump's lower 40s means that they were calling to 100% for Clinton and Trump having 0% chance. Course, that isn't how polls work, or how percentages work, but that's many people's mentality about it and not just something that Trumpkins are unique in.

During the election, no one lied to you. The polls were accurate and correct. The news reported on them truthfully. The editorials had opinions based on those polls. Everything was working as intended...

Most polls never showed Trump and Clinton more than a few % apart at any given time, and the aggregate was always very close. And "polls" are different from "prediction analysts", who are people who take past voting trends, current events, polls, etc. and form a percentage of probability of one candidate winning over the other. The day before the election, most trusted prediction analysts had Clinton in the 60-70% range. A few weeks before the election, a far left site had Clinton at 99% chance to win because her numbers took a temporary sharp bend upwards over Trump. So the uneducated Trumpkins used that 99% as their hallmark for "polls are unreliable".

And yeah, they seem to forget how percentages work. If I got Ashes of Al'ar to drop on my first run of Tempest Keep, wowhead's drop rates aren't fake news.

Trump still has too much support and has cast too many suspicions on the FBIs impartiality for them to be able to act against him in any meaningful way. All of the shit would hit all of the fans.

It's hilarious how easily people are distracted. I can remember when Tillerson was sworn in and people were still protesting pussygate. The CEO of ExxonMobil, the largest of the world's Big Oil companies, advising on foeign policy would have been a huge controversy for any other president (Admittedly his time was short, but he made tens of millions in tax breaks anyway, so maybe that was their plan all along).

It's the same with global warming. Everyone's outraged that he pulled out of the Paris climate deal but It's the wrong battle again. Nothing can really be done about it until China starts really pulling it's weight. In the mean time, Trump has stripped back so many different envionmental laws to help out businesses, that the damage to the US will be irreversible.

Uhhhhhhhhhhh well the China comment is accurate, but domestically, it's been, at best, modest deregulation which hasnt really had any tangible effect on the rise of renewables and decline of coal. If anything, it'll help save Nuclear as a viable option, which is a good thing.

The most aggressive deregulation is tied up in the courts. Under US law, changes in regulation cannot be arbitrary.

I feel people are underestimating the method to his madness. I know everyone likes to think of him just as a big ol' idiot that gets lucky. He did lead many of his casino to bankrupcy after all, but nobody has that much luck, and even a casino (or country) doomed to fail can be a lucrative money maker for some people if it's played right.
