You want to tell me that the whole noble Horde isn't under some evil mind control spell of Sylvanas?
I bet these pathetic writers will come at us with some stupid stuff like that. Same as they try to retcon Sylvanas and make her responsible for the Wrathgate, to shove her mustache twirling evilness down our throats.
In regards to the quests:
War is nasty and ugly. I think it depends on my character, with which i do these quests. Some of them probably wouldn't mind the Pandaren healing these civilians, just take them prisoner or ignore them. Others would simply kill her and the wounded and wouldn't give a damn, just because they reason, that a dead Alliance member can't kill another Horde member. I mean, evil characters might even more or less enjoy these quests.
From a neutral out of character perspective, the quest with the pandaren is honorless and not pretty at all. The rest is normal stuff happening in war all the time.

Yeah, iron stars aren't some horrific warcrime. That they are distinctive to Garrosh's goblin-tech armaments for his run as Warchief and later the Iron Horde don't make them somehow a forbidden weapon.
You did the poor guy a favour, put him out of his misery before Lliadrin could come over, take him to her wine cellar and suck the life out of him over the winter.
Yeah..., you cant talk when you literally have a group called the "purge squad", killin vulpera that arent even part of the horde.

That's the Horde
1) is using weapon very explicitly associated with evil faction: True/Iron Horde. You know we don't throw mana bombs around that much since Theramore? Don't go digging up more "effective" sha stuff since SoO? Or that many in the Horde do not approve blight, despite it being "effective" too?
2) That said weapon is provided by supposedly "oppressed for nothing" Mag'har. It is not like they just stored it for 40 years since last time we've seen them, don't you think?

Here's the thing about war crimes. When the chips are down everyone does them. WW2 there was not one country that wasn't being indiscriminate on killing civilians, soldiers, medics. Barracks, homes, hospitals. All were hit without remorse from air, ground and sea. The unfortunate thing about war crimes is that they are pretty much nothing more than a pinky promise not to do X if you also pinky promise not to do the same.
In going with in game this is just another case of tit for tat that's been going on since forever. Last expansion we had alliance going around executing forsaken close to death, just because in Aszuna. All sides have been killing healers just because since vanilla. This thread for Azeroth is nothing more than a mountain from a molehill.
1) the issue with using sha shit is it tends to turn you into a homicidal maniac, the only side effect of using iron star tech is your enemies die a lot more. and if objecting to a weapon because its associated with an evil faction is all it takes then congratulations you have just gotten rid of all warlocks deathknights demon hunters and an entire allied race for the alliance.
2) so they fact that the Mag'har built a weapon here on azaroth after they arrived somehow means they where evil on their world?
I don't give a single fuck about what Alliance have until I'm done with Horde story and then finally pick up my old Alliance alt to check story - didn't had time to do that since BfA started. I'M PLAYING HORDE.
I was told very explicitly on character screen that I'm playing faction led by "peaceful people with shamanistic beliefs", that is further described as "the Horde values strength and honor" on pandaren faction selection screen. Go ahead, fire up the game and read it - it is right there.
But for some retarded reason my character is now given the one and only option to play fucktarded genocidal war criminal.

You can either win a war, or spend time lamenting how evil the opposite side is. I'm not very happy with our "warchief", but I AM happy I don't belong to the camp of whinge needing every little scrap to SJW themselves to hell and back.
And I really wish people would stop burping the by players misunderstood "morally grey"-crap by now. It's an even worse meme than Ugandan Knuckles at this point.
Am 100% hoping that all this leads up to some sort of "mercenary" system in a future expansion, gameplay reasons...

Using anything more than a stick to beat your enemy to death is evil. If you don't give your enemies an equal chance you're terrible. Orcs are going to start intentionally fasting to weaken themselves so that they are equal in terms to human foot soldiers too.
Also killing a fucking healer =/= blowing up a hospital jesus the amount of stretching people are doing in this thread.

The light gives zero shits about what you do as long as you believe in yourself.
Edit: Looking through the threat there are people un-ironically talking about the Geneva convection, holy crap fantastic.
You say that, and then resort to deem anyone not outraged by actions in a PG13 title as displaying a lack of character that would LITERALLY make WWIII more hellish than the 2 that came before it.
Man, you people are all emotions and no smarts, aren't you?
It's just a game, don't let what happens in its story put a dark cloud over your entire existence ffs. It's not healthy!
As for considering it a war crime to fire upon medical personnel/civilians IRL: Sure, in theory. In reality, how many do you think actually obeyed said "rule of war"...? Have you ever seen anyone return from battle showering praise and roses over the humanitarian rules being followed to a T? Because I sure as fuck haven't.
You people want to soapbox over which faction you play in a game? Fine, but please show some class and stop likening the people playing the opposite faction to actual war criminals and Nazis. It's.Just.A.Game. If you can't tell the difference, you're not mature enough to have access and your parents should buy you some PG7 titles to protect your delicate senses.
