Yes, especially when you are only 16, that sort of stuff can slip out. It can still happen when you are older. You get into an argument with your wife, then one things leads to another, she calls you a son of a bitch, you call her a whore, then you drive away angrily, go drink a beer with your boys, vent about how you are right and she is wrong and then you return later, you both feel sorry and you have make up sex. It's not exactly like that with your mother, but mother's can be cunts, too.
