Yes? They're not Korean, so they're foreigners.

So instead of staying clear of trouble, you're one of those foreigners who would rather dive right in and cause problems and then complain about people being antagonistic towards you?

She's either a troll or just retarded. I'm going with the latter.

    Is this a serious question?

I mean, maybe you would be put out. But that was not my experience of living in Korea.

I can count on 1 finger the amount of times I offended someone while living there, and it was on day one when I sat on the wrong seat on the train. :P

Never took the train while in Seoul, was it an actual wrong seat, like designated for handicapped/elderly? Or was it someone thought you were in the wrong seat because you were non-Korean and they wanted you in the back of the train? :P

Their nationality would be South Korean. Not Korean.

So all these Korean-Americans aren't really American then? They're just Koreans inconveniencing the locals? Even after multiple generations?

It's not officially designated a seat for the elderly, but it's common social knowledge that I learned quickly.

In my defense I'd just gotten off a 18 hour flight and was pretty much dead on my feet at the time.

Sure it is, a broad and diverse ethnic group, just, most people in the USA don't belong to it.

The facts is that Korean does not exist as a nationality. South Korean and North Korean, does. Korean, refers to ethnicity.

There's absolutely nothing problematic about my views. South Korean is nationality, Korean is ethnicity.

    I’m done with you.
Korean is an ethnonym. South Korean is the demonym for people who live in South Korea. Not my fault you do not know the difference between ethnonym and demonym.
