We'll be in the 3e and final raid tier during Blizzcon.

The only way we're not getting an expansion announcement during it is if they already announced it at a prior date.

Doubt we'll be in either 8.3 OR the final raid tier, as timing stands 8.3 may hit around Blizzcon but the raid tier wouldn't be there til dec/jan

This is not the sane blizzard any more. They don't do things the same. This is Blizzard in name only.

i can smell the PR backlash from these price hikes from here, and it smells glorious, gonna be looking forward to the new 'phones' meme this year because we are all expecting it this time, gonna be fun to watch the train wreck happen.

$30 price hike per ticket is pretty minor with inflation, especially considering what most people spend to attend already. Flights, hotel rooms, expensive venue food, merch, etc. Not to mention that a lot of attendees build a whole vacation around it, since the Anaheim Convention Center is right across from Disneyland.

BoD will be 10.5 months old. This 2 boss filler raid will be 7.5 months old.

Most raid tiers last ~6 months. You think BoD will be the second longest tier in history?

We have 2 more raid tiers? 8.2 will hit around late june with the raid after the 4th of july. 8.3 Late November with the Raid early december or early jan.

We already know 8.2 isn't the last patch and the 8.2 raid isn't the last raid. Not to mention that Classic will probably release in late Aug. to early or mid Sep. which will placate people for a month or so.

Apparently 8.2 and the raid don't exist and there's nothing up on the PTR right now /shrug.

IMO it would make more sense to just piggyback on PAX East. A big part of the reason they can go all out for Blizzcon is the Anaheim Convention Center is pretty close to the Blizzard campus in Irvine.

If you only care about the announcements you can watch them for free. People go to the convention to meet up and party.

Yeah, Uldir and BoD have been so far apart its hard to see them as a split tier, even if Blizzard does.

Blizzard doesn't see things in "tiers" they see them in "seasons" and there will be 4 "seasons" during BfA.

That said... I hope we get an Epic 14-16 boss raid for the last raid... sick of these short 8-9 boss raids.
