I would feel bad for all the soldiers that would have to shoot 600.000 idiots though.
Well it isn't like the gate guards and security details have 600k rounds of ammo on them. Also safe to say after a few people fot shot more than half would lose their will and back off, surrender or turn and run. While it would be sad to make some teen or young 20 year old gun down civilians, if you charge a military installation you deserve the bullets that come your way, at the very least you ahould expect them.

second- imagine if all 600k ppl were killed- Wouldnt that lead to internal war including every family who loses someone from the 600k?

third- someone call the men in black
Mmo champion would be out of subscriptions if that happened.

Private security firms patrol the border of the base, and to my knowledge they can kill you on sight

Do you really expect an overweight Narutard in polyester pajamas to climb a series of fences and then sprint a 1/4 mile or so in 110 degree desert heat?

All i can say is this is the kinda thing folks who participated in the tide pods challenge would think is a good idea. RIP those who go and think they are safe.

This is correct, afaik. There was a news article on it some years ago; the journalist couldn't ID the firm that contracts out the "camo dudes," but they're a private firm under government contract to guard the perimeter of the base. And they do have the authorization to use deadly force. Think of it like a "getting shot for being a dumbass" appetizer.

Maybe a link to the original reddit that explains wtf is going on woulda help for people who come in late to the party
I’m assuming from posts some people made an event to storm Area 51 with a large group of people on the grounds that they won’t arrest/kill that amount of people.
I’m sure they would just need to drop afew bombs just out of range of the group to discourage the majority of such a mob leaving only the die hard conspiracy nuts to arrest.

It's a joke event. There have been quite a few joke Facebook events before this one, this particular one just got a lot of traction.

I'm not saying that there are zero nutjobs out there that will show up, but most people aren't serious.

but it is not genocide by any definition of the word. breaking into a top-secret military facility is equally bad if it is one person or 10 people... or 100 people... etc
aaaaaaaaaand not genocide! Genocide, from the Greek word genos meaning race, mostly with intend to destroy that race. Which would 100% NOT be the case if some guys storm a military facility.
Unless they are all from the same race of Retardlandians. Even then, there would need to be "intend to destroy" the entire race of Retardlandians, and not just those that went to area 51

I hope you are correct. But i have a severe lack of faith in american youth these days.

Area 51 is 25 miles across, and the last few miles is a salt flat. The guards can just leave the gates open and wave everyone in - I expect most of the Naruto runners will be dead from heatstroke long before base security will need to call in the Puffs.

Not to mention the mountains that nearly encircle the entire area.

Plus there is the actual USAF security personnel. Trying to force your way into Groom Lake is, if you are lucky, a one way ticket to federal prison, if you are not, a 6 foot dirt nap.

I refer back to a Dale Brown book, where he states that the Area 51 guards use attack dogs that have had their voice boxes removed. Silent and lethal.

No one is getting into Area 51,m the signs all say the same thing

    "Use of deadly force authorised".

Dale Brown is a fiction writer. In any case, people are taking a fake Facebook event way too seriously. I can see some fun in speculating how many of a tiny minority might be dumb or mentally ill enough to actually show up/make some sort of attempt, but we have a couple of months and people will have likely forgotten about it by then.

Or it will turn into a media circus and/or awesome alien-themed concert/party in the desert with a lot of hype and commercialism...hmm. Might be time to start making some t-shirts.
