Rand Paul is a piece of garbage that cares more about minimal additions to expenditures more than the lives and health of the heroes of 9/11. This is a debate to have after those people are taken care of, as they were promised.

I cannot think of a better example of why the Senate should be abolished and the House expanding their representative count to well over 4,000 with this. Metropolitan Statistical Areas, MSAs, as denoted by the US Census, is the only relevant population delineation now in the 21st century. We are living in a most consequential time in human history, and we have pieces of shit elected representatives that represent less than ten percent of the total voting population (Kentucky, Utah), whose decision to delay and "debate" will literally cause the deaths of dozens of people for political expediency. This is beyond dysfunction, this is a dead carcass of a radical idea from over 200 years ago that is being dragged to ensure power in the face of existential threats in the form of healthcare for first responders and anthropomorphic climate change. It will end.
