He wants a name that actually sounds like it belongs to the Vulpera culture. Hence why he wants to know where the names are derived. Naming his fox Bob may make him unique, but it doesn't play well to race.

I'm also interested in finding the root origin of the names.

You can have any name you want, because your parents want to give you something special and they think x culture is cool. Bob and Cindy was a bit of a joke, would have thought that would have been obvious enough.

But I did post later that the particular breed of fox used for the Vulpera is North Africa and Saudi Arabia. So lots of options for regionally correct names.
