what reason would be that? it chocks directly with the wow lore of how Garrosh put the same tattoo exactly because his father had.

They clearly use the WoD grom as example, thats perfect fine, but this part they got wrong, Grom in Wod didn't have full yet because he was younger, grom in WC is old and had his Jaw entirely painted.

I would prefer to wait and check the campaign first when the game is out to check what things they added or changed to justifie some changes that happened in the game to make it look more current when it comes to lore bits and connection with what happened in WoW and what's been retconned there?

i doubt the tattoo have anything to do with the camping story, and its never mentioned in the most recent chronicles book

I'm all for MU Grom having a completely black tattowed lower jaw. It simply looks much better compared to those two lines AU Grom has in my opinion.

In regards to this topic or the third tow of trolls topic, i'd say open up a thread in Blizzards forums and make your argument there. It helped with the height of the Zandalari etc. So there is at least a good chance in my opinion with Groms tattoo and the third tow if the thread gets pushed enough. I mean, its an easy change. And there is nothing wrong with being consistent in portraying the characters and races.

But i think its important to do it in Blizzards own forum, which they might read. I doubt they read this forum much. And of course use Twitter, Facebook to bring attention to the topic. Preferably through constructive criticism.

Not really, you can change the size values with simple commands from what i know and read when modders were doing this ''Warcraft reborn'' mod and reading posts about it on some forums.

But probably adding big blackish texture and adding some effects to it to fit with the skin over his jaw won't be that big of a deal either.

In my opinion, because good chunk of people probably will be 50/50 on the tattoo, they should just add classic leaner version of Grom with HD remake and let people choose.

I prefer the buffed version of him, WoD + chronicles forward, i think that his old version looks goofy and boring(like any version of really thin orc, not looking that special in the game etc), some other people will prefer the classic grom with generic axe, because i saw some people complaining about gorehowl aswell.

I saw some people being really fanatical about little retcons and saying things like ''VANILLA LOOKS BETTER, LOOKS LIKE BLIZZARD HALF ASSED ANOTHER MODELS WITHOUT THINKING, THEY ONLY WANT TO PLEASE WOW PEOPLE, CANCELLING PREORDER''.
But even when reforged was announced it's been said that there will be some changes.

There was this one guy that said he will protest at blizzcon because grom have a different tattoo.. I get that you can don't like the changes but a little tattoo texture that you will probably look like once and then forget about it is such a big deal for some in an RTS at the end of the day.

Maybe people will try to play this Warcraft like WoW, literally zoomed in all the time not caring if their units are getting killed or not.

Those people have nothing going on in their lives, hence why something as trivial as Grom's tattoo means so much to them. Everything they say should be taken with a grain of salt. The poor souls have nothing better to do than spew nonsense on the internet.

I do use it but m waiting the oficial forums to open first, if it get late, or they will not open at all, im going for those things and twitter, kinda worked with the zandalari by example, they added the toe.

im also wanna check a bit other models, if there is more missing or something wrong i can put everything in a megapost of small things

Me personally? Hardly any if not at all.

I don't really care too much, if they fix it fine, if they don't fine! I am personally not really as bothered as most, but ultimately some people are. And its worth bringing up anyway. It's a minor complaint to me personally but that doesn't mean I shouldn't care.

The toe thing is kind of important to the trolls, it would be like given humans a third eye, I mean you wouldn't notice much, but it'll be there. I say at least its nice to mention, as long as people are constructive about it.

Well, to be honest when it comes to visibility and not importancy, if human units without helmets would have third eye you would see that pretty clearly, even from upside down or in portraits.

Blizzard is pretty inconsistent with back troll toes, i feel like they want to get rid of it for some time now.

i think you are going to look at then frequently since they are your unit, and the camera angle kinda show then off, if you go back to wc3 they even walk weird because of it.

Personally i would not.

I care more about animations and how i see the unit from top, body type, armor, weapon and how the units move.

If it was wow or some RPG it would be different case, because i usually have more cinematic camera over the shoulder there when im exploring and stuff.

I've been playing Blizzard games EVER since SC1 and War 2, and I NEVER saw blizzard lifting a finger to its community, unless its money.
Also, all you people are masochists still clinging to the idea that they will do something good, when in fact they ripped everyone and claimed them to be "original" like diablo being a blatant ripoff of The Immortal. Or blizzard HATING EA and Microsoft because of Age of Empires and C&C TibSun, Which are the best Remasters of the moment.

Or the Fact that Reforged will be China friendly, FULL OF RETCONS made by Christie "i ruined Buffy the Vampire slayer" Golden and with MTX up the ass and doomed like SC2 and SCR.

I hope that this blizzcon ends up with a shitshow that ends up in global news.
