From the future? No. Sure these characters don’t get much screentime (Well, some of them actually get way too much), but they sure as hell personify exactly what Warcraft lore is.

No, I get it and somewhat agree (they are great personifications of World of Warcraft and maybe not the entire Warcraft universe per se). But beside that, I just want them to decently flesh out some original WoW characters from the ground up. I was actually bummed out when I read that an unimplemented plan for post-MoP was Garrosh amassing a "Mongrel Horde" from the "lesser races" such as troggs, kobolds, and murlocs... instead of the AU shenanigans of WoD.

I like how most of characters of OP list are dead or irrelevant since a few x-packs, lol. Rest of them are in the universe since the beginning (i think Velen is the most 'recent' one?).
That shows perfectly how pathetic lore is since Cataclysm and literally nobody cares about all of these weird, newer personas like Wrathion, Yrel or Lorewalker Cho.

It's more because those old characters have had a lot of focus in the promotions of the game, they have also been around the longest and also been in the RTS games which people remember fondly.

Personally I am glad we got more from Lorewalker Cho and Wrathion this patch. It's nice to see they didn't just create them to forget them.
