Wait what, you are complaining about upgrading a PvE item with doing PvE. How does that make sense complaining about?

Its also a must have for competitive pvp. Because corruptions are that powerfull. So to have best PvP build you need to do PvE activities

Haha, omg, peoples are really lazy to this point ?

Hell, even my 450 alts, cloak at 13 who do 0 raids can do full run without problem, so peoples in hm/mythic raid stuff should not complaint about it

There are some pretty amazing players in here.. 10 min a week to get mats to enter the vision, CMs to get to highest rank and do a full clear.. In 10 minutes pr week. That´s pretty darn impressive.

Yeah, compare those 10 minutes a week of easy PvE-content to getting rank 3 Blood of the Enemy which is BiS PVE essence for many specs.

Yeah, or getting Conflict and strife rank 3 (BiS minor essence for healers and a lot of other specs), infinitely longer to get than Focused iris essence rank 3.

There are some pretty amazing players in here.. 10 min a week to get mats to enter the vision, CMs to get to highest rank and do a full clear.. In 10 minutes pr week. That´s pretty darn impressive.

Pretty sure most people are using sarcasm when they say 10 minutes as it’s still a pretty fast endeavor.
Realistically, 3 invasions per week at about 10-30 minutes a piece ranging from efficient to extremely slow with no knowledge. The lesser Vision monument takes 2-5 minutes per day. Add on only clearing the necessary areas in the Horrific Visions for cloak upgrades taking 10-20 minutes (again, this is only clearing required areas and not full clear with end boss). You don’t need to cap Mementos to get max research rank, but it does help. Add on multiple runs of Visions for cloak rank, and realistically you are looking at 40 mins to an hour and 35 mins a week of dedicated time to upgrade your cloak.
For efficiency, there’s food to grant you “stealth” and bypass the entire 1st area along with most mobs in the other areas in the Visions themselves.
For the assault areas the events are your friend. Hell, the week with the stranded wagon grants almost 50%, if not more, completion towards the assault on its own between tagging all the mobs and the event itself.
Any time over that hour and a 1/2 then you are either severely under geared, doing extra things you don’t have to but want to, and/or just need to look into how to speed things up. That is no time at all to give to one character. Now, if someone has multiple alts then the issue is on that player to upgrade, and actually do the things required to upgrade. I say that as someone who believes some game mechanics should be account wide. Essences to an extent should be account wide, maybe up to rank 2; but not full ranks. That’s part of the choice a person makes for having alts.
