In the third world basically every socialist party is also nationalist, and they thrive with the narrative we are poor because the developed nations opress us.

Free speech, or free expression, doesn't exist by itself. Without rules, your precious freedom doesn't exist. It's really not that difficult to understand. But then, I doubt you even know what that freedom actually means for you. 9 out of 10 people on the internet have no fucking clue what human rights and freedoms actually protect and - more importantly - who they protect you against.

Nationalism is, at absolute best, a stupid thing for morons. That's at best, which it rarely ever is.

Socialism in the US is a meaningless buzzword that's been deprived of all its meaning due to overuse by idiots who haven't got a clue what the word means. If you believe in public roads, is that socialism? Fire departments? With a sufficiently generous definition, America is a socialist country and everybody likes it. Most of the old farts screaming about the evils of socialism online are on Medicare. So even the people who claim to hate it actually love it and are just too stupid to know what it is.

I don't know why America thinks only Nordic countries have a system of social democracy. Basically every first world country does except the US.

The "nordic model" - again, this is a term for the simple minded - is really just a more extreme form of social democracy. I'm not even debating with you about the merits or dangers, I'm just saying that social democracies having to work out a balance between social care and liberal markets in a modern democracy is not exactly exclusive to the nordic countries. And they have not abandoned social democracy completely, they just dialed it back to a more reasonable amount.
