Well there *were* already fel Nightborne warriors in Legion (presumably all dead).
Void elves should have gotten any Belf DHs that were in Silvermoon / part of void experiments... (presumably none were part of this.)
They already made sense in the lore, but that point has long since past.
Any race that can be a warlock would make sense as a demon hunter (Human, Gnome, Dwarf, Worgen, Void Elf, Dark Iron, Mechagnome; Orc, Undead, Blood Elf, Troll, Goblin, Nightborne, Vulpera), as they've already exhibited the ability to channel fel and use demonic power. Then we can go further in lore to find examples of people in different races that became demon hunters. Draenei make sense as eredar, and night elves obviously make sense too; I could see Kul'tiran as well given that humans already make sense. On the Horde side, we have the Zandalari demoniacs, and we have the Highmountain feltotem; mag'har and tauren make a lot of sense given their physical similarities to orc and highmountain, which are already on the list.
So basically, the races that don't make sense to me are pandaren and lightforged (with Kul'tiran, Mag'har, and Tauren being contingent on their associated core/allied race getting the class). Even lightforged are a bit iffy since Illidan was being turned into a lightforged by Xe'ra, but it's not clear if the process can be completed in the other order (lightforged first, then demon hunter).
Any race can be because race restrictions are stupid.
right, bcs there is soo much lore behind hunters not being able to shoot a bow...
hunter is one of two classes (with warior) that every race should have as it doesnt depend on any kind of skill that cant be learned, so if anything humans and undead should have it from begining
Orc and draenei seem like easy choices.

Draenei and undead are my primary choices, although nightborne and void elves are a good choice, just by virtue of being elves. With the Legion defeated, though, the idea of the Illidari training new Demon Hunters isn't likely.
Any race in conflict with the Legion (read: all of them) would have people seeking revenge against the Legion - it's a world-wide threat that corrupts and kills indiscriminantly. People would have sought out Demon Hunters either in Illidan himself or those he taught. When the Dark Portal opened it was a calling card for anyone seeking vengeance to seek him out. And especially since Legion we have no shortage of DH mentors in capitals. At this point the methods should be readily available for teaching and training.
Scenario: We return to the Black Temple to find that Akama has been using Illidan's teachings to redeem Fel Orcs and Eredar, giving them the techniques and tattoos needed to regain control over their demonic instincts. These then join the Illidari.
Orc and Draenei Illidari unlocked!
I don't see a problem with other races being DHs.
I see a problem with the reasoning why anyone would do that to themselves now that there are only splinters of the old legion remaining and they probably will never come back to Azeroth after that blazing defeat which basically killed every major demon and leader while also destroying their resurrection machine.
