Shadowlands Systems not a New thing: They existed since WC3:TFT

Did you know that the concept of Anima, Soulbinding, Covenant and Soul contract, and soul infusion are not a New concept in WoW?

    Think about Arthras and Nerzhul
Thing about the Major character being used as "power" similar to known Legendary Weapons. Think about Shaman King and souls residing in an armor or weapon as their new house or body. Similar to the Genie in the lamp or sentient weapons like BotBE or Arcane mage Lego weapon.

The weapon or armor becomes soulbound to the owner. They become one in mind and in Soul. Whatever strength or power he has he can lend it or extend the capability of those who wields or wear the armor.

Imagine Arthras as a legendary soulbind or becoming an anima infusion for armor or weapon.

Jaina, Tyrande, Varian, Shaohao, Rhonin, Medhivh, Zuljin, Garrosh, Onyxis, Nefarian, etc.

So how many systems are there in Shadowlands, this all sounds like there are too many, aren't the people saying that BfA has already too many systems etc.?

I made an earlier Prediction back in the start of the first few months of Alpha. Seemsike most of it are on queue and as expected.

Phasing will be heavily in use now to further push the storyline. The experiment was successful in BfA: Warfront, and Nya'lotha patch assault.

They may also use the waygate systems to let Covenant enter other worlds or Shadowlands pocket dimension not introduced along with the 5 starting zones similar to island expedition.

Damn, this sounds very much like WoW is going more and more into single player but an MMORPG.

Its really all one larger system with different parts. If you make a list of all keywords it sure sounds large, but all it does come down to is two key abilities from your covenant choice (one combat, one movement), and a choice of additional "talent" trees to pick from, with empty slots to augment with drops - like legion relics.

The customization is about the same level as we have in BfA right now, except that its all in one cohesive system, and not build-up throughout the expansion without much coherence. That alone should make it much easier to grasp.

You have 3 progression systems to worry at max level: gear (dungeons/raids), soulbinds (mostly open world), legendaries (Torghast, professions). People just list different open world activities from Covenants like doing Maw or emissaries and list them all as "new systems".

Wait, so Soulbinds and Legendaries have no affect on raiding and/or M+? Can't believe this.

It was sources. Good gear comes from hardest dungeons/raids you can do (no titanforging/corruption this time), soulbinds will be progressed through doing all covenant content and open world (Maw, world quests), for legendaries you must run Torghast, but base item will be created by professions.

It doesn't look like a lot of systems for me, at least for now.
You join your covenant, you get 2 abilities and an additional talent tree. That's it.
Gear-Legendaries is just a gear progression, it is not new, lol.
All other things are not really systems like azerite-essenses-corruptions, they are your covenant hall progression and open world funny things to do.
You didn't whine about Suramar system progression with watering a mana-tree or your class order hall stuff, rught?
There are thing to do, yes, but it is not three layers of player power so far, only 2 new abilities and a small talent tree, that's it.

Holy mother of... don't know what to say. If it is like you said I am glad I didn't pre-order. I hope they will make a MoP Classic server since this was the time I played and enjoyed this game the most.

hahaha like 95% of your predictions up and to including anything alpha related have all been wrong and/or ridiculous. but I'll bite: which threads are you talking about?
