I don't know where people got this notion that every idea has the same value, but it really needs to stop. Believing that we should cleanse our society of all the races and religions that are undesirable is not merely "not thinking the same"...it's actively calling for genocide. Fucking obviously. This pathetic attempt to handwave it away with this "chill out, it's just a difference of opinion, bro" garbage is reprehensible.
right wing ideology is on the rise across the globe as massive waves of displaced people leave certain regions of conflict.

Well being a Muslim is a choice so it is their "fault" if they resist secular modernity. I don't know the statistics but I definitely see more young people who put "Ex-Muslim" in their online bios, so maybe we're past the phase where there is legitimate fear of honor killings in relation to apostasy.
Yes it's basically "my football team vs your football team" except people take it deadly serious.
I don't know if MENA migration actually will cause a lot of problems in Europe though. In California a lot of the Muslims I see are relatively well-off and business owners so I don't see them as just being cogs in the latest left wing ideological project.
I dont agree with your sentiment regarding the enforceability of international laws. There is plenty of precedent showing economic sanctions and the creation of multilateral trade agreements can easily bring down a China/Russia/bad actor. Conservatives in the US don't want to concede this point because they would lose billions in military contracts that are directed to the RNC and their campaigns, giving way to a historic reformation of the military budget in 75 years to progressives.
I've talked about this in other threads. I'm always open to an apology and move for redemption. However, it's not gonna be a hand-wave. Here's what I'd expect, and this is at a minimum, and by no means the full extent of what is warranted;
1> Admit fault, and take responsibility for the harm you have caused and encouraged with your position. Openly, publicly, and without exception.
2> Make amends to any individuals directly harmed in the process. They don't have to accept the amends, but the effort needs to be made, and without expecting forgiveness. This isn't about you being forgiven.
3> Take a firm stance rejecting all those you once supported through that cause or viewpoint. Condemn them, publicly and openly.
4> Never, ever, ever break with this apology and admission of guilt. Not in private. Not to anyone. If such a break ever comes to light, all the above was a lie you told to duck taking responsibility. This new stance has to be the new you, through and through, and you cannot ever slip. Because a slip means you never really meant it.
I've added the last bit to how I phrase it, because there's been a few cases of someone crying crocodile tears and then going right back to being a shithead in secret.
Redemption's always there, and always available. But you've got to actually put in the work, and actually change for the better. A simple "I'm sorry, can we drop this?" is not even close to sufficient.
To use a tangential example; when Trump re-tweeted a video of a guy shouting "WHITE POWER", the above was what was expected of him. To admit he never should have retweeted it and he made a terrible mistake in not watching the video more carefully, to apologize to everyone who was exposed to it via his retweet, to firmly reject white supremacy as a whole as a the last resort of chickenshit racist cowards, and that guy in that video specifically, and to never, ever do anything that ties in to white power movements ever again.
Instead, he deleted it and pretended he never did it. Which is the act of someone with a guilty conscience who doesn't feel it was wrong but also doesn't want the public backlash over what he exposed about his true feelings.

The media called Obama “Deporter in Chief” and constantly criticized over the bombing... do you have this lack of understanding due to the media you frequent?
Edit: When did blaming the media for your own ignorance become acceptable? Oh yeah... Trump...
Edit 2: Maybe... and just maybe... It was more politically and financially advantageous, for your news source to focus on Birtharism and hidden Muslims, instead of presenting Obama as someone who bombs the shit out of them and is a Deporter in Chief... Maybe, it’s more politically savvy to claim Obama wanted open borders and was soft on terrorists? You think that might have played into your ignorance?

I don't get your thinking, why would they vote for the right when they actively and openly despise them? you describe them as cogs of the left when the republican party routinely says they don't have the right to be here. It's not logical to vote against your own self interest minorities and other groups are no different than you who supports Trump and the GOP.
Hyperbole...no more worrying than tiny rise of commies would have chance of creating another communist state.
Fringe extremists will stay fringe, shaking in ur boots for the smallest rise is pretty paranoid..

do you guys agree with hillary? i honestly wouldnt mind if dems moved right on certain issues just to win because republicans want fascism, so a more right wing democratic party is perfferabl.a
start being more pro life maybe, just build the wall even though its a waste of money because it makes white people feel safer, just give up on the whole trans thing, that seems to be like the breaking point for common man, it seems like trans rights is the hill the common man is willing to institutte fascism to prevent trans rights, so the dems might as well give up on that too since its such a small %- its ironic that hillary is super centrist on so many issues yet she lost and people accused her of being too far left,
Yes, I also wonder why people want to revive The National Socialist German Workers' Party. I do wonder why do those people want more socialism just for Germans, and not for everyone, like their brethren, the international socialist. Why do neonazis want only Germans to suffer? It's weird. They really do hate their own kin above all.
