Gaming and WoW stuff
Are you implying that LFR raiders are not really raiders? That's pretty rude.

Well you know nothing dies anymore. Holy characters are now fit inside rock clothes(looking at you uther ofc)
Even the fairies can't be fairies but some kind of next gen cave dwelling fairies.
All the quests.. They don’t even make any sense.
This expansion is like a low budget spin off. It's like the writers didn't have access to the previois lore and are operating on snipets they found on a fan fiction website
We got plenty of whimsical characters. The cute stewards and their toodle-loo-hoo. The dredgers being stereotypically British everymen and snarking at the "fangs" all the time. Even the over the top warmongering maldraxxi got some laughs out of me. The butterfly people stopping in the middle of a battle to find a musical instrument and play a song.

That's kind of how it's supposed to be. The realms aren't really supposed to be interacting with one another. When you get your escort around Oribos the wardens there tell you they can't remember the last time they sent someone who wasn't just a spirit getting judged to another realm. The Eternal Ones' have never even met in person, communicating via holograms to Oribos.
The most difficult thing to do is accept that there is nothing wrong with things you don't like and accept that people can like things you don't.
This discrimination against LFR raiders is very old but I thought it mostly died out.
LFR isn't easy. LFR raiders are raiders and should be treated with respect.
I'd say it's harder than normal and heroic by a long shot. It needs a very firm grip in order for the group not to fall apart.
Mythic is just the unnecessary hard mode nobody really wants. It doesn't even feel rewarding..
That's basically how the easy conclusion is that LFR should be the only difficulty came to me.

That's not edgy.
It's very realistic.

If I had no idea of what the ocean was, and you pointed at a river and told me it was the sea, I would probably believe you.
In that sense, yes, LFR is raiding. 100%. Ofc.
When I look at Oribos now all I see is an airport terminal. It looks like one, the circular layout that goes to different 'planes" to their respective area. The shops look like what you would see at an airport, small stores in a row or like a single merchant at a cart. It takes a bit away from the whole afterlife theme or experience when you see the airport terminal.
But if you always saw the afterlife like it is shown in Beetlejuice, maybe this is perfect.
Pvp hasnt be that fun since MoP.
This is pretty true. The game has derailed so incredibly hard over the years that it has practically become impossible to cope with the lore changes as an RPer unless you're one of those guys who sits in Stormwind all day and ignores everything happening outside. WoW used to be great for RP which is why it fostered so many incredibly creative communities who created their own content. Even the smaller server communities managed to get into gaming magazines with their big events. Most of those communities are dead by now. There's like only one active RP realm left for every language (on EU that is). It's pretty depressing to think about.
But I don't think this has anything to do with the tone of the expansion but rather with the inconsistency in regards to lore, the out of control scope of the newer expansions, the wacky timescale etc.
They've made a complete mess of it over the last 6-8 years.
