Can someone help me understand what's happening here?
How is this possible?

It's padding

Most of tank damage is aoe, our single target rotations don't really vary from our aoe ones. So to imply its ALL padding is misleading.

He literally does almost his full dps on all 3 bosses over the course of the entire fight (at least while they are alive).
If i try to put it into a mathematic formula:
1 + 0.8 + 0.8 + 1 + 0.8 + 1 = 5.4 (3 from relevant target, where he does 100% of dps + 3 from padding, where he does 80% dps)
Comparably the rank 2, who is a ret pally, only does relevant damage.... go figure.
1 + 1 + 1 = 3
The prot pally boosted his dps by about 80% trough padding.

As far as I can tell, It's 484k, which is still a lot.
But he's running the Conduit and probably maximizing padding on each cast. It's kind of hard to tell, since his log stats only appear in gibberish language.
So again, the tank is padding like crazy, and even has control over positioning, meaning he can keep pretty much everything inside his Ashen Hallow for the full casts. And have all the damage count.
So there's really not much to see here....
