Question How are Prebuilt companies getting low supply cards?

Certain companies have estimated dates as early as next month. With the tariffs and virtually no supply how are they going to get them? I could order a 3080 prebuilt and it’ll be here by late February or early March.

    Requirements contracts

Yeah, these are bulk purchases they made well before those cards hit the consumer market for individual sale.

they (nvidia) allocated that certain cards were for prebuilt, and then nvidia helped companies like bitcoin miners acquire the majority of the individual cards.

let's not forget that MSI was "scalping" their own cards.

They don't have to deal with the market because they have wholesale purchase contracts

Im assuming that they are priority for releases and re-stock? just like Nvidia with Cryptominers? then everyone else.

Stop spreading this bullshit. Nvidia or AMD do not sell their own cards themselves, even Reference/Founders editions.

Yeah SIs have easier times getting the cards because they have priority and then can buy the cards off distributors before they hit retail market.

Both Nvidia and AMD very much sell cards from their own shops, so don't know what you are on about, they may not make the cards themselves, but they do sell them. Anyways the thing he is pointing to is that apparently Nvidia sold chips to Cryptominers that then created their own mining specific cards out of them. Which does make sense if you got the tech, dunno how many mining companies have that though.

Why do people feel the need to attack people on the internet?

First before you jump down someone's throat and tell them they are wrong and spreading "bullshit", you should at least link a source, a reputable one.

    Like these.

    https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/shop/ge...9&locale=en-us

    https://www.amd.com/en/shop/us/Graphics%20Cards

Now do they make them? No, do they sell them? Yes they do.

OT, like others have said, allocation was made before release, so they get cards allocated to them when they become available.
