Whilst I think the way they (she) has been treated has been bad, the media coverage of her here always bothered me, I can't really bring myself to care all that much and can't help but feel this is distracting from the member of the royal family that should be in the spotlight- Prince Andrew.

I'm pretty neutral on the Royal family, I like having a honorary head of state, I don't think it much fun for senior royals with the lack of freedom and constant press intrusion and have little or no choices about how to live your life. but I do think they are more than rich enough and should be paying their own way by now.

She's credible to me. Most of the royal racism was fairly open, there's no reason to think this would be a lie.

Really, really, exceptionally hard to defend them when Prince Andrew was 100% caught red-handed having sex with underage girls via Epstein, with witness corroboration, and it was swept under the rug. The racist treatment of Meghan during her Royal time was fairly public. We didn't know about the skin color comment, but it aligns with all of the other royal behavior. If you're calling her a liar, you're calling Harry a liar too. And that's a tough sell when literally all of the evidence points to them being racist via actions that we know were taken for a fact, such as Harry being estranged, no protection for her son, no title, cutoff financially, etc. Even if you question the baby color comment, the royal family did more than enough racist actions against her solely based on her race that their cards were shown. A duck is a duck, even if they don't like that they earned the title. The Oprah interview revelations were just additional proof of what we already knew.

Also, just to correct a false statement earlier in the thread, Princess Diana had setup a $20M trust for her children *split between them*. Harry's portion of that and whatever money Meghan had, plus w/e they've earned on their own, is what they have financially. They aren't living in a van by the river, but they certainly aren't more wealthy than any royals.
