I'm going to say Bolvar. Man was plagued, BBQed by dragons, tortured by Arthas, assumed the Helm of Domination (and all the torment that went with it), has endured daughter drama, and is still good guy let's save Azeroth.

Hmm...I'm surprised no one said Mankirk or John J. Keeshan yet =O
...Ok, time to change the ol' Sig ^_^
This time I'll leave you the Links to 3 of my Wordpress Blogs: 1. Serene Adventure 2. Video Games 3. Anime Please subscribe if you like what you see. As a Bonus, I'll throw in my You Tube channel =D
Our Character... how many times do we need to save Azeroth, the universe, etc and still these mfers don't know our name?
"Champion," "hero," "mawwalker," etc. You see this shit? You see all these amazing deeds I've done, Learn my effing name.
Also, have you seen the imbeciles I deal with day-in day-out? Talk about mentally strong...
Of these Malfurian, but it Wow in general Im going to go with Velen.
Say what you will about him but Anduin is mentally very strong and should be in the top ten along with Bolvar.
Of the ones listed, I voted Malfurion, but I think Alleria and Khadgar were nice honorable mentions. If I had to pick anyone in lore, I'd probably go with Ariok; the guy gave himself up to become a dire orc, was tortured by the Bleeding Hollow, inundated with fel, and still stayed true to the mission to protect Azeroth, all without massacring a bunch of innocent people or trying to conquer another world.
You do know that Kerrigan predates Sylvanas, right?
Nomi.
No matter how many times he burnt my food, he kept trying. Inspiration to us all.

Grom spent more than a decade fighting the control of the demon blood.
Bolvar resisted the Jailer for 7 years.
I think i'd second that choice for Jaina, i mean she literally saw everything from the fall of Arthas, lost all she knew in Lordaeron, went to a new continent, fought the Legion's invasion and lived, aided the horde in killing her own father with no easy choices to make, got betrayed by the horde under Garrosh, survived her own personal hell in Thros... and well that's not even all of it.
Easily one of my favourite characters in WoW.
Illidan seems rather pale in comparison to me, more genuine choices on his part, perhaps poorer writing too.
This is a signature of an ailing giant, boundless in pride, wit and strength.
Yet also as humble as health and humor permit.
Furthermore, I consider that Carthage Slam must be destroyed.
What about Lor'themar?
If Mankrik wasn't secretly a cuck all those years in the Barrens before meeting the adventurer, id go with nozdormu, kelthuzads worth mentioning among the others in this thread, he's seemed to be a pawn to many different workings but always held some of his own.
Gamon. After beeing killed probably a million times already by cruel players he held strong during OG raid.
