You mean the green alien being taught by an interdimensional demon from hell creating a portal to invade our world who is afraid of the greater demon stuck inside the human who contacted the green alien and helped him make said portal? People dramatically exaggerate WoW's early days. It was convoluted from day one.
The most difficult thing to do is accept that there is nothing wrong with things you don't like and accept that people can like things you don't.

Everquest and Everquest 2 are still around and making money. WoW isn't going to disappear overnight simply because you no longer like it. It will be around until it stops making money and MMO's can easily make money depending on how they handle the sunset years. So another decade of WoW is entirely possible.

"As noted by MassivelyOP, during the year to 30th September 2020, EverQuest made $11.5m in revenue, whereas EverQuest 2 made $6.5m. EverQuest has 66,000 subscribers and 82,000 monthly active players, whereas EverQuest 2 has 21,000 subscribers and 29,000 monthly active players."

God, they want to make Azeroth even more special. I think there was a hint of something like that a long time ago when the Jailer said that Frostmourne and the Helm of Dominance needed him to get the secret that the First Ones hid (and the Lich King was sent to Azeroth). But this is so dumb. She used to be the strongest Titan, and now the supreme weapon of the First Ones or what?

    Sargeras wants Azeroth
    Void Lords want Azeroth
    The Jailer wants Azeroth
The Titans considered Azeroth to be extremely important and wanted to protect it.
Elune protects Azeroth (although we do not know how actively she protected other planets with her followers) and calls the Night Elves her beloved children.
The only one who has not yet shown an interest in Azeroth is the Light (although Velen saw the Army of the Light consisting of the races of Azeroth). Xe'ra was a fan of Illidan and took Alleria and Turalyon to her place, but was not interested in the planet itself or the world soul.

Azeroth is in fact a realm of the First Ones. One of them is still alive and watching our planet. I think Naaru is invested in protecting Azeroth too, Khadgar mentions something in Shattrath City about Naaru saving us from the Legion.

Where do you get this information? The Naaru rescued the draenei and the remnants of the Alliance in Outland because they asked for it.

Yeah, that is correct. Basically, I got this information from Khadgar. He is located in Shattrath City. He has been fighting the Burning Legion then he used his magic and the Naaru appeared to help him out then together they returned to Azeroth. Here is a piece of what he says:

Then when you exit the city you can look up and see this huge light beam up in the skies and just look at the stars for a bit. There is a stellar figure whatching us over. I don't have convince you or anyone here. It's just what I see.

I know very well about Khadgar and the Naaru because it is written IN THE CHRONICLES.
I ask where did you get the nonsense that Azeroth is the realm of the First Ones, that one of them is still alive (in which case, you also have information that everyone else is dead) and that he is watching the planet.

Zereth Mortis is an actual realm of the First Ones in Shadowlands. This is confirmed by a Broker. Azeroth has a very similar name but it exists in the reality realm. Algalon is watching us over there no doubt. It's even written on his pet that we are all wrought from Stardust. Harbaron who is his twin brother is dead. Harbaron is a spirit walker Charon from Greek mythology where he belonged to constellation Twins and he is an actual moon of Pluto. He's been in charge of transferring souls to a death realm. This is what I read from books. It's just an assumption where the inspiration might come from. Their in-game models are exactly same! If they were twins, they might have common stars. If Sargeras obliterated Harbaron while he was watching over a sleeping titan (there is a Titan Core relic in Korthia) and the Jailer corrupted his spirit then it could cause a huge imbalance in the Cosmos and would explain Jailer's power. The fact that his death was mentioned in Legion in the Maw dungeon and now we have been dealing with Helya again is not a coincidence. This whole thing about Odyn's eye. He must have sense something was wrong in Shadowlands that he sacrificed his own eye to have a look. I'm not sure if there are others who are still alive and I wish they were. I know about these two. I actually believe since Azeroth is a realm of The First Ones, our ancestors were celestial beings that have been inflicted by the curse of flesh and became mortal beings and this is why we are so damn powerful. You know these summoning stones that we have in front of each dungeon. There is a Norgannon's Sagacity rune on them. Norgannon was a celestial keeper of lore. There are plenty signs of a past celestial life in Pandaria. Plenty little details that most of people don't even pay attention to, because they are busy looting stuff, most of them don't even care. These relics in Korthia, or even blue tracks of destruction on the buildings. Constellan Writ, Constellation Shield ability in Torghast for example or a Broker standing and selling Constellan (Cyphers) stuff in the Maw. There are Brokers in Torghast too! A telescope in the Sanctum, waystones, teleportation pads. Last boss in Tazavesh is casting collapsing stars. Go to Oribos to ring of transference and click map, you will see a star. Go to Ulduar and look at the ceiling. The celestial statues placed there! Does that mean nothing? Why would a celestial dragon defend a titan device? Titans are gone! Why would they care so much about this Planet? Why literally every villain is so obsessed with it? The fact that Elune is a sister of Winter Queen already tells me a lot. I have already written a lot about this in my previous posts. There is so much I have to say but I'm a little bit tired.

Compared to: We are the ones who will stop TITAN++ Model, get into the realm of "The first ones" who created our universe and shit! Ah and next expansion, we'll kill bears to get their livers.

    Pathetic...
You forgot the part where we also fought manifastions of old gods, a mogu with titan powers and literally supercharged void garry.

I both agree and disagree. While I like big cosmic lore shit like this, I also want the game to revolve around small scale stuff like some minor dragons and whatnot. I just want the universe to expand beyond the game, give us the cosmic stuff in books, comics, spin-off games, etc.

Just reading this makes me think Blizzard will pull another one of those "fate has always resided in mortal hands" quotes by making the 7th cosmic force be Azeroth and in turn gifting that power to the player characters.

It's just the same stuff all over again, for the third or fourth time. Rehash upon rehash upon rehash.

    But why would it ???

It's allready a known fact that Zereth Mortis is the realm of the First Ones. The beings who actually ordinated reality. Their realm is much much muuuuch more than being about "death".

The realm of the first ones could easily just be their "hang out" space in the Shadowlands though. The "cockpit" that controls it all which could still allow keystone to fit.

And so you just put forward your theories, which are based on your fantasies?

This planet is so important to the Titans because it is another Titan, and the strongest at that. Have you heard about the Chronicle?

Alright then. Why Algalon is casting Big Bangs and Collapsing Stars? He also is able to control Time. Why would they put this all stuff in game like that? Why Zereth (A Keystone) Mortis? To make people have headaches? Oh yes, I have read the Chronicles. I got an access to all of them!

I could imagine Zereth Mortis as like the Emerald Dreamway for druids. IE- Its just a location that, in turn, has a bunch of portals that go elsewhere. In this case all the keystones (Zereths) go to the central Dreamway hub. There could be zereth equivilants for each realm etc, with the jailer taking the death version (zereth mortis) to get to his ultimate destination.
