What are your headcanons about the Capital Cities ?

What are your various headcanons, speculations and theories about the capital cities on Azeroth, whenever its about their geography, organisation, military defenses, the local culture and customs, foods and drinks, activities and points of interests, and other random facts about the cities and their inhabitants ?

I headcanon that the Vindicaar is permanently parked above Stormwind ever since Turalyon took over.

So, if you want to raid Stormwind, have fun getting through the Vindicaar's defences first (the Legion at Antorus failed btw)!
The Void. A force of infinite hunger. Its whispers have broken the will of dragons... and lured even the titans' own children into madness. Sages and scholars fear the Void. But we understand a truth they do not. That the Void is a power to be harnessed... to be bent by a will strong enough to command it. The Void has shaped us... changed us. But you will become its master. Wield the shadows as a weapon to save our world... and defend the Alliance!

How are they powering it? There are no reserves of azerite/argunite?

There is no evidence that all the reserves of Argunite/Azerite were depleted.

Furthermore, the Vindicaar is a key component of the LF Draenei's racial passive which is BfA timeline. So the Vindicaar didn't just drop the dead after the Argus campaign was finished.

Now that Turalyon rules Stormwind, the Vindicaar will protect its master and Stormwind.

Oh, by the way, the Army of the Light also has a second spaceship, named the Aurobos, which is led by Lothraxion (a servant of Turalyon). So that's two spaceships that will come to the defense of Stormwind and Turalyon if it was ever required.

There are special runes in Ironforge and Shadowforge that aborb excessive heat and toxic fumes and gas produced by the volcanic activity below the dwarven cities. Though due to how dwarven are more resistant to heat than most races, especially Dark Irons, the hottest portions of the Great Forge in Ironforge and most of Shadowforge are still uncomfortable for most races that come to visit here.

There is also another Deeprun Tram relying Ironforge to Gnomeregan, and there are projects of new ones for Aerie Peak and Shadowforge City.

There are still knights tourneys in Stormwind, though they had lost some of their popularity and prestige after the First War.

The Draenei have built a city just next to the Exodar, and other settlements on Azuremyst and Bloodmyst Isles. An observatory, a giant library with magic or holographic books and projections, crystal farms where Draenic crystals are grown for magic and technological purposes n, as well as candy crystals, elekks, nether rays and talbuks farms and fields, a mage school, as well as a Night Elf and Furbolg special quarter are amongst the points of interest of this new city.
    There are also

I just assumed the Vindicaar was tidally locked with azeroth. Well, Argunite and Draenite are not options because they don't have access to those planets anymore. Azerite was consumed by the wielders of the artifacts to defeat the legion. The racial ability "light's judgment" is interesting, because you would think it's an orbital bombardment, but the ability doesn't say where it comes from. Again head cannon, i just thought it was floating in orbit.

Which part of Capital City do you think that the Forsaken used to settle and build the Undercity ?

Not counting the odors of countless permanently rotting bodies and all the stuff the Apothecaries and warlocks do.

You can literally make a LF Draenei right now and see that the Vindicaar is still active.

You have no point to make. This exchange can end here.

My headcanon is that in the alliance especially people are bemused about how elves will literally relieve themselves anywhere near a tree, used as they are that nature takes its course.
Naturally worgen have taken to imitating this art.

Blood elves look down on it as humans and dwarves do, but the nightborne still know this old night elven tradition and do not see it as clashing with their haughty culture funnily enough.
Orcs, though typically not considered the epitome of civilisation, are definitely on the blood elves' side on this, whereas trolls don't understand what the fuss is about.
Tauren meanwhile do not even bother to go behind a tree, so their roads are caked in stomped manure.

Goblins have careful toilet habits and are remarkably clean in this sense - as they hatvest and exploit this valuable resource.

    Mechagnome poop is hexagon-shaped.

This is a signature of an ailing giant, boundless in pride, wit and strength.
Yet also as humble as health and humor permit.

Furthermore, I consider that Carthage Slam must be destroyed.

The Goldshire Inn is regularly visited by Paladins to help keep the number of STIs down and prevent outbreaks.

I have no idea, what blight smells like.. thats sipping through. Just toxic, those bodies would simply dissolve.

Human extrements and other human waste, seems way worse in terms of smell. There is no other way then them just throwing everything in the canals. Its also still water.. i really dont know whats worse, with no toilets. Undead dont have that problem, they dont even need to eat.

Golems have become a common sight in Ironforge where they are used both for defense and mundane purpose.

Ironforge Senate now has Dark Iron and Wildhammer senators though there are still talks and disputes over their numbers and proportions. This alongside the betrothal of Falstad Wildhammer's daughter with Dagran Thaurissan's son were necesary concessions for the Wildhammers to accept to accept to return to Ironforge and the Council of Three Hammers.

The restored Gnomeregan has a system of pneumatic tubes to help transport items and Gnomes across the city. It's one of the main attractions of the city. There are also many trains, flying machines, rocket boots and other sillier inventions for transport. And the city has now an airport at the surface.

Gnomeregan is also now equipped with radiation and poison detection systems, and special ventilations and filters to absorb and neutralize any new radiation or toxic gas or undead plagues to prevent another catastrophe from happening again. They also have vibration detectors to foresee any future new Trogg attack.

Dwarven and Gnome cities also have underground farms and glass houses to feed their population, even during winter.

The Vindicaar is not powered by argunite or azerite. It is powered by the Crown of the Triunvirate.

Poor planning is perhaps the best word to describe Orgrimmar's origin and continued existence, from its location to its architecture and even the materials used especially after Garrosh had the city rebuilt. Who on earth thought it was a good idea to have buildings made of metal in a hot desert ?
