Would it not be better to go for the 6950 as it is only about $20 more expensive but would run 1080p games so much better?

Also the Power Supply is that enough for the build? I know my I5 build requires a 650W minimum

It might be, but I had to keep this build right at 700$ range. I'll prob end up getting at 6770 or 550ti till I can afford something like a 6850/gtx 460 or better.

yah that psu right now is a place holder hoping MicroCenter gets the Corsair 600w ones back in stock soon. They don't have seasonic and I dont trust ocz/antec enough to buy one of there 600-650w psu.

I've went for a 1200W OCZ as I will be going Crossfire 6970 within a few weeks and so far I can't complain. My old build with SLI 460 had a OCZ aswell. I know that a lot of people say dont go for the "cheaper" brands, but often they are quite good.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814150523 Lowest priced 6950 i could find, honestly 6850 is Great for the price and down the road you can pick up a 7 Series instead...

that psu is perfectly fine if you are going to use a single 6850. most people grossly overestimate the wattage they need for some reason. only thing i would suggest is maybe look around some online and see if you can find a slightly better price/better psu for similar price. everything else looks good.

Most cards recommend a 550W PSU at least, most builds here recommend 650W or more for future proofing. I always go overboard when it comes to PSUs because I fried a motherboard and GPU using an inadequate PSU in my first build ever.

And yes, the 6950 is better than the 6850 by a good margin, here's a comparison from Anandtech: http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/293?vs=291

Well wait on the gpu and prices on current gen will go down or you can pay about as much as now (possibly a bit more) and get something better then current products.
