When will SWTOR get more front page love at MMO

Just wondering if there were plans afoot to start giving swtor some more front page love?

I mean at the time of writing this there were 736 people viewing the swtor forum compared to 34 on the MOP thread and 346 on the wow general discussion
    thread.

    Thoughts?

If there are still 700+ in 3 months something will change - but I guess many played SW:TOR for the story and have finished it in the first 30 days. I don't expect more than 1 million subscribers.
Atoms are liars, they make up everything!

Why would a WoW website give more love to SWTOR? WoW is the MMO-Champion.

This is something that has always annoyed me. You never see anything about any other MMO on the front page, bar the MMO report which you occasionally see on there.

While it is called MMO_Champion, it is in the end a WoW fan site.

So not likely for it to happen.

Er that doesn't have anything to do with what the OP is talking about...

Essentially he is saying that Boub should start posting things on the frontpage about SWTOR...

Sadly, ain't gunna happen.. Whilst this is "MMO"-champion ... It's still primarily dedicated to WoW news, even the Diablo news doesn't get any official stuff just a Link with a tiny, tiny bit of info.

If you want SWTOR news ... I would suggest http://www.darthhater.com/
Darthhater doesn't nearly have a budding forum community and activity that MMO-CHampion has, but if you want your SWTOR news, head there.

I imagine if maintains it's popularity over a reasonable length of time they could certainly expand the functionality of the site. I mean, the name of the site is MMO-champion, which allows it to be diverse if it so chooses.

People visit this page to get WoW news, not SWTOR news. Find somewhere else.

While I do recognize that MMO-champion is a WoW focused website, the name IS MMO-champion, which in itself does not give away any preference. I understand OP's curiosity. Despite the fact that MMO-champion is one of the best websites out there to find WoW-related information and the fact that it's so focused allows it to be one of the best, I think that a more broad approach to the MMO-genre as a whole could be beneficial. It would require more staff though - or so I imagine.

This is how I think of things: This website is a Blizzard fan-site with a WoW focus. You will see all WoW news with the occasion of seeing new Diablo 3 stuff and links.

    http://www.darthhater.com/ is the " SWTOR's MMO-Champion" by Curse.

He's talking about the front page, genius

Curse owns MMO-Champion. Curse also owns DarthHater, a SWTOR web-page. Running SWTOR-news on MMO-champion, the by far bigger page, would defeat the purpose of DarthHater and annoy the WoW-gamers of MMO-C, effectively diminish clicks, and thus income, for both pages, assuming the amount of SWTOR-gamers arriving at MMO-C wouldn't outrank the amount of WoW-gamers leaving MMO-C and SWTOR-gamers leaving DarthHater. So I assume it never, ever will?
10 char req. - because explaining is good.

Darthater will never have the reputation Mmochampion has, Simply becouse its name is flawed, its forum setup is beyond hidious and the frontpage "New" Is really uninformative.

Why we should read about useless info on a already dying game on front page.

sithwarriors.com seems to develop into the elitistjerks.com equivalent

darthater.com plain sucks and cannot replace mmo-champion.com (ugly layout, everyone uses offical forums or mmo-c)

There are plenty of sites vying for the mmo-champion equivalent, but atm there is none. I'd lay my bets on forcejunkies.com, but too soon to decide.

arenajunkies.com equivalent won't be before the implementation of arenas - rated wz won't create enough content.

Imho the curse network should be bold and close down/migrate these forums here and redirect people to darth hater - after changing that fugly colour scheme...

Yeah every MMO with a tiny bit of potential should change this site. No, Swtor has to prove itself.
