Virtually the whole game is cross server what does server balance matter anyway? And if you dont want the achievement dont farm it...simple as

Its not all about raiding, or questing, or professions, etc. Blizzard does a nice job of giving everyone something to do. You can't run around all the time like your head's on fire and your ass is a ketchin'.

So wait. One person making a char on Horde, with his main on alliance, will cause him to suddenly swap faction due to an achievement? Seems legit.

Don't most PVE-inclined people level at least 1 character on each side anyway, to experience the different storylines for each faction?
I know I levelled an undead to experience new Silverpine/Horde-side Gilneas, and the Herd version of Twilight Highlands, for sure. :|

Serious, achivment is no NEED to do.. if you dont wanna farm it then DONT! achivment is there for ppl that wanna do them...

I like farming achievements i spend 33k on Sand stone drake, 16k on Mammoth and other crap.

Making me level alliance chars to fix the server imbalance or even worse Faction change for money is despicable even for a low standard company as Blizzard.

How on earth you came up with the idea that this one achievment is the Blizzard's strategy for fixing the realms balance issues ?!?
This is only to prove that ppl are dedicated to play Ally and Horde and that is all.
Also for ppl that more alts there is an achievment too.
No1 is forcing you to play all day to get 10 chars to max lvl asap and so on.

Achievements, by their nature, are wholly optional. And with the introduction of account-wide achievements, it's logical that Blizzard would add a few that demand the use of more then one character.
