Oh hell yea you're doing the right thing.... My only advice is... can you sustain this type of pace?? For the next 40 years of your life, can you continue what you're doing now? The reason I ask that, is because people tend to lose motivation when they push themselves too hard. Losing weight is a game of patience... People want to lose the weight asap and be thin... so they set high standards for themselves and after a couple months, they aren't getting the results they want. They think "huh if i'm working this hard and not getting what I want... maybe I'm not doing it right." Losing motivation is the worst thing that can happen... now if you see yourself doing this for the next 40+ years, then go ahead.
I'm into bodybuilding and I set some pretty high standards for myself. I picked routines out of muscle magazines and online articles... I pretty much copied pro bodybuilders routines... which sucked because I was working harder than ever, but I wasn't getting the results I wanted. So i reduced what I was doing per workout to something more reasonable and now I have the body that I want and i haven't lost motivation in quite some time.
