i have a big cawk
I can discern sarcasm on the internet
To most of the answers so do many many others.
Unique? I don't know, maybe the exact length of all my body hair combined is, when measured in small enough increments, like nanometers.
Because I am slightly more evolved into a pop-tart dinosaur monster than anybody else. Really, there is this pattern of freckles that sort of represents the nostril of a pop-tart dinosaur. In a billion years my people shall rule the earth.
We are unique, since they are 7 billion different people.
There isn't another you.
No other person is completely identical to you in every respect.
Even identical twins will very in some respects.
However "special" is a grey area, since that is very much a personal opinion.
What defines that will vary considerably from one individual to another.
Therefore there is no universal acceptance that any given person is special.
All we can say with certainty, is that we are all unique.
Nobody can honestly argue with that.
I have this amazing ability to make any situation horrible and hate/down talk myself no matter the place, time, or situation. I'm a walking talking humanoid depression dispensing system.
That's not arrogance.
Merriam Webster says
I would assume that most people have a trait or characteristic that sets them apart from most others. There is nothing inherently wrong in understanding that. What makes someone arrogant is the belief that that trait somehow makes them better than others...and they feel the need to be overbearing in letting others know how superior they are.: having or showing the insulting attitude of people who believe that they are better, smarter, or more important than other people : having or showing arrogance
I'm really good at about one thing. It happens to be my job. I'm fairly skilled and knowledgeable about a field that few people really understand or have the ability to master. I'm far from the only person who possess such skills and there are MANY who are far better at it than I am. The skills I have don't make me better, just often times unique. That's not arrogance...just a factual observation.
Get a grip man! It's CHEESE!
TLDR; Mostly everyone posting drivel or sarcasm. There are very few "unique" and "special" people. (No, I don't consider myself either...)
Stay salty my friends.
The sum of all my commonly occurring traits. I might share a lot in common with other people, but I doubt I share every aspect of my person with a lot of other people.
Politically, I'm a "pro-war" Leftist, which makes me a part of a very small minority. So, there's that.

On a more serious note, in the grand scheme of things nothing that none of us ever do will ever really affect anything in a significant way. There is nothing we can do that will cause our works to positively affect the world for an infinite amount of time into the future. We will eventually fade away no matter what and what we do and who we are will fade away with us. Given an infinite amount of time and infinite universes, there will also be an infinite amount of people just like us in every way, shape and form, theoretically of course. In that sense, nobody is special, nobody is unique and nobody really matters.
The fact that I am just like everybody else.
