    LFR: 80% waiting, 20% playing

Will Blizzard to anything to adress this? Everytime I do LFR the group wipes on a boss, everyone leaves (because they for some mysterious reason expected to one shot everything) and you are back in queue for 30 minutes again. Rince and repeat.

    Any solution planned for this?

And why can't you do anything worthwhile on the Timeless isle when you are waiting in the LFR raid for new people? The rare mobs don't drop anything then. So that means you have to stand around doing nothing.

Flex LFR should alleviate this to some extent.

Suggest that leavers get the debuff after entering and leaving a raid without killing a boss. Also, guy above is right; Flexible LFR should be better.

Bots that replace players if they leave, TBH, something that Garrisons could lead up to.

since when do you even play in LFR

get naked, die, receive orange 4 quest, leave
Content drought is a combination of catchup mechanics and no new content.

Solution is don't do lfr. Sounds trite but I'm serious.

Why put up with a system that makes you join up with 24 other people who are likely bad and leave so quickly. It makes no sense.

Because you want to gear your character up? And before you can do the higher raids you need to get a some-what appropriate gear level, which is acquired in LFR.

The queues are determined by those in it.
What exactly is it blizzard is supposed to fix ?
Calling for a fix when you have no idea of the real problem isn't going to achieve anything.

Tanking and healing for random groups is simply a horrible experience as made by the community.
That is why the queues suck, and a problem only the community could fix.

Bribes in the form of satchels/reward bags did nothing to solve it in dungeon content.

You can earn the gear without LFR though, as proven by the fact that LFR unlocks two weeks after the release of a tier.
    Convenient yes, but not mandatory.
It just takes longer, and if you feel forced by a guild then that is where the blame lies, the guild and the larger community.
    Not blizzard.

-explain the fights before so that you don't wipe
-don't do LFR at 4am when there is a whole 20 people in queue. I've literally never had a problem with waiting if I raided at a reasonable time.
-you don't have to do timeless isle while you wait, you could fish or gather. The timeless isle restrictions are there for a reason.

Queue as a healer and as long as you are top 3 dps no one will care. Or queue as a tank but since you have assist, go in the raid section and mark everyone has main tank so they don't know who actually is the tank and eventually someone will just put on tank gear or go blood or something and tank.

Flex LFR I think is underestimated.

There's been times where: 1/2 the raid leaves after a wipe, the dungeon finder finds all the dps and is just missing that one healer and it won't put them in the raid as it won't let them enter until its found all the people the raid needs to 100% fill. With Flex LFR that wouldn't happen.

For gearing for raids: most efficient thing to do is coin celestials and possibly Ordos if this is an alt and...... Conquest cap. 550 ilvl compared to 528. Its better outside of a few trinkets. If a pug doesn't realize that, that's a doomed group anyways if they're too lazy to notice.

What else should they do? Flex is quickly becoming just as horrible as LFR... go to timeless isle and then miraculous join a Normal Raiding guild?

    sheesh.

Flex more often than not is horrible only when an absolute moron puts it together. Even then as long as he's chosen a couple of decent players out of the sludge he has picked it's usually quick, easy, painless and mostly fun. If you find yourself getting bad groups in flex constantly, then it may be best to start one yourself

Flex gives you the choice of who you team up with. If you find yourself in a shit team then look in the mirror to find where the fault lies. *Sheesh!*

Just remove shit from your group.
As a solution they should just remove all interaction from lfr and let a bunch of faction themed npcs fight the mobs. Maybe you should be able to buy some crap to throw at the enemies or your npcs like in the brawler's arena.
Each encounter you watch this way you'll get a key which you can use in a room similar to that of the thunder island scenario.

Welcome to the World of Queuecraft. This is primarily why I left the game, I just realized how ridiculous it was that I was sitting in queues to do content that wasn't fun past maybe the first 2times, so I can get gear that looks like ass just so I can get ready to do it all over again when the next tier comes out. Well of course you could run in circles on an island killing the same things over and over again, or pick up quests to do the same things over and over again.(however depending on your item level those may not be very efficient ways of progressing) I don't mind repetition if it is well disguised, in wow if you want to progress your characters your options are severely limited and the repetitious nature of them is not well hidden and makes the content extremely boring.

That's kind of how I felt. After gearing my various chars in LFR and with VP gear, I reached a plateau where it just felt like a terrible chore to sit in a raid queue for an hour to maybe get some slightly better gear. By the time the last one came out I just couldn't stand it anymore. Knowing that was the end and at the next xpac launch it would all be made worthless anyway, I had to quit. GW 2 is a far superior game IMO, I actually feel like I can accomplish something there that will endure, not just let me walk up another flight of stairs to the party on the next floor that soon moves up another floor so I have to climb up again and again and again and...

I refuse to pay a sub to sit and wait to play a video game. They make some changes to get rid of the interminable queue times or get rid of the sub fee, I might come back. Otherwise, so long WoW. I'll get the story for free off WoWpedia and YouTube.

I wouldn't call it that but it sure beats a 45 or w/e minute wait time.

Some of you guys are missing the point about your "logical" idea about Flex because its not happening at the moment. On Tuesday or Weds. sure but after that, I'm starting to find that a majority of the groups being put together for Flex are generally undergeared dimwits who make people carry them and when you do put one together, you pull your hair out because you're constantly wiping and kicking people and adding more dimwits to your group. The logic of Flex as some of you have stated is slowly starting to fade away because these boosted nitwits from LFR now have the gear to do Flex and they are taking it over.
