Never roled ret, just did for this xpac!

few questions though if anybody can help

rotation wise im doing alright im only doing about 17-19k dps when rotation is on point
1 out of 3 fights im pulling around 12-14k?

what can I do to make this a steady 17-20k dps and what are you currently using as a rotation?

Depends, if the gods align and you get good procs then 30k is achievable. The issue is FV+DP is very rng. I'd recommend running FV+HA until you get to the 15% haste cap or you tier set. Otherwise you can have 4s of slow time were you are waiting for CDs
