jesus christ... can the teams get any lamer? Up to gen 6, they were like terrorists that want to radically change the world, mean while gen 7 was basically bored punks, gen 8 some fanboys sent by the brother and now this doesn't seem to interesting either...

Team Skull wasn't meant to be villains though, they were just the red herring. Same with Gen 8.

Only reason I bought it, been over splatoon mp since like 6 months into splatoon 2 and 3 is just more of the same.

I heard from one of the early reviews that the story actually has some challenging side missions, and I enjoyed the Octo-expansion story for the challenge they had, so I'm definitely looking forward to it.

That struck me as well too. I know Stardew Valley has done well, and rune factory is a long running series, but damn why the surge in these type of games!

Dunno why Marvelous would use their marketing deal with Nintendo to announce a wonderful life and rf3 remasters at the same event, talk about cannibalizing your own marketing. Could of saved one until the next direct. Harvestella was already announced, got a demo and releases soon so they get a pass there but that poor poor indy farming game getting stuck in this direct with all those, ripbozo.

Octopath 2 was a surprise, hopefully they improve the story this time around.

It will feature a hero with red and blue hair and a new gimmick that allows them to wear accessories that can summon Fire Emblem characters from previous games.

This just feels kinda dumb.

So long as they have a decent list of heroes they're bringing back, the new FE will be a must buy for me.

The style and artwork reminds me of the Tellius games.

I dont think this is a main evil team tho. More like a rival school.
Maybe they will pull out a team skull, but i dont have high hopes.

They aren't a rival school. They are upperclassmen.

If you watch in the trailer, you'll see the Scarlet dressed protagonist see Scarlet dressed grunts and leader.

Honestly, most people look at Splatoon and think it is fun colorful shooter.

But, the story is interesting and the lore is kind of dark when looking at the surface.

Late to watching it so I'm reacting now, already know about the Zelda reveal it was spoilered to me before I came here.

Octopath sequel wasn't though. I'm already hyped. A few people have heard me sing praise about the first game and my love for it. Feburary literally cannot come fast enough for this.

Octopath 2 looks good. Never finished the 1st one actually but enjoyed what I did play. But it will likely be on PC like all of SEs "exclusive" Switch RPGs.
