Thread: Pokemon, Part 2

This is greatly overestimated. I'll be amazed if either of the DLCs last longer rahn couple of hours. The areas they bring are tiny.

Also you cannot transfer pokemon in the free version of Home. (unless you mean from Sw/Sh to Home)

edit: doesn't change the value outcome but is important to note.

So you've already played the new DLC? What are all the pokemon added?

We know nothing about the size of the areas or anything else.

They're adding one more Wild Are per DLC.

Wild Area is tiny and can be gone through in minutes.

    Just by looking at screenshot.
Less than half the size of wild area, 1 tree island, 1 cave that probaly leads to laguna and 3 or maybe 4 roads in total that end up in 2 buildings.

pokemone sw/sh is closing in on and likely surpassed x/y and s/m as this data is old

With the dlcs, we might see the new #1 pokemon game

    Gen 2*

G/S/C and the remakes were the epitome of pokemon.

I'll have you both know you're wrong and Gen 3 is far better than those two, combined.
Although Gen 2 has merit for containing both Kanto and Johto.

    Yeah its called Temtem.
Sword and shield is garbage. I bet less players play it, compared to ultra sun and moon.

You would be suprised how many ragequiters i see there.

We were speaking of sales numbers.

Nothing will ever outsell gen 1.

Doubt it. The DLCs amount to nothing more then another wild area. Until they fix the match making system and improve it, I doubt the DLCs will amount to anything. Certainly not a new #1.

yeah maybe not #1, but it will certainly pass x/y and s/m. pretty good showing for the first on the system!

Gen 2 was hot garbage water. At least the original. I haven't played the remakes. Gen 1 was much better. I never made it to the gym after the lighthouse tower thing in Gen 2 because the only thing to level up my pokemon between it and the gym were level 17 tentacool and if I was lucky, a level 22 tentacruel. My pokemon were in their 30s, so I was getting about 10 xp a piece (25 for the tentacruel). Gen 1's level distribution was better.

Generations 3, 4, and 5, were the golden age. Generations 3 and 4 had stellar world design and a wealth of content to enjoy. Generation 5 felt magical by discovering brand new Pokemon at every turn, challenging gameplay, and the memorable story. All three generations had fantastic music, namely composer Shota Kageyama's music. The Pokemon soundtracks really went downhill after he left.

im really glad the zelda effect has kicked in for gen 5.

i used to get so much hate all the time for saying it was one of the best games and now it seems like everyone online loves it

Honestly? No. Its not a good showing for the first on the system. Poor graphics compared to what the system can handle. Cut features and barley functioning online system.

I really don't think we will see anymore large leap in sales. Not for awhile. Any game after this that includes all of the pokemon + improved gameplay and graphics will probably destroy sword and shield in sales anyway.

We all know none of those things will happen in Future Pokémon games
