Tavern Brawl is out

For those of us in Europe it is out anyway, you play a game as either Ragnaros or Nefarian with preset decks full of crazy minions.

I have played 4 games now and only ever played as Ragnaros and my friend has done the same but only ever played as Nefarian, has anyone actually played both heroes yet or is there a competition thing going on?

Nefarian is so OP it's stupid. Not only does he have better skill but he starts with 5 mana why.

I have played 2 games now, 1 with each. Won both easily.

I have 2 questions:

1. Whats the number on the top in the middle of the screen?

2. Whats the point of getting many wins? (I played once and got a pack...why play more? Ok its fun, but for example why play 100 times?)

This brawl seems quite unbalanced.. Only times I win with Rag is when I get really imba starts to match Nerf or when am playing against bad players, which happens quite often. And well have yet too loose with Nef.

The end result really is.. It ain't fun, my friends are rather same skilled as I am, so who ever gets Nef probably wins, got old pretty fast.

Seems like a fun idea but this set is busted.

Played as Rag twice and got smashed, then got Nef and completely owned my opponent.

Nef needs a nerf to his hero power, make it cost 4 less or something, free spells are bonkers, and dropping five cost minions turn one (especially Dragon consorts that snowball real fast) against a player who's only T1 play is flame imp is broken.

Even in the late game, having a two mana rag trigger is not that good since loads of minions drop extra stuff when they come down, and starting at 5 mana allows complete board domination from the off.
Free random spell any day.

Yeah, or Rag just needs more 1mana cards.

Dropping more flame imps wouldn't help when your opponent is firing off Corrupters and destroying you with free spells and T5 plays in T1.
Nef is utterly broken as is.

It's boring as shit. As Ragnaros you can't do anything, while nefarian gets tons of cool spells and a billion minions to play from turn 1.

Every game is just nef drops 1-2 minions on turn 1. You drop minions. He removes them and drops his own. Repeat until you die.

Played my first game a couple of minutes ago. Got Ragnaros as a character and won. Opened pack and got a Golden Nat Pagle. I am more than pleased. =)

Installed HS again to see it, played one game, unistalled again. Not my cup of tea.

Played once as Nefarian and won, it was pretty fun and the match counts while doing certain dailies like summoning X mana minions. Got a kidnapper from the free pack, guess it could be worse. They could do a better job balancing the two heroes though.

Is there any point to play further though, aside from fun?

Nefarian is indeed very overpowered, but I got him only once out of 8 games and won 6 games total.
